Sabrina POV
Two years after the New Dictator stepped up to power.

When the new dictator stepped up to power he became power hungry and ruthless. Sabrina's mother tried to hide Sabrina from him when she found out what he was really like. For this reason the dictator placed a bounty on her mothers head. His army was ordered to kill her.

"Go Rina. Run away... Hide. In the forest. Get out of here... learn how to survive. Just," I listened to my mother struggle to breathe her last words, gasping and coughing. "promise me you will get out of here." Then the door was brutally pushed down. "Hide." My mother gasped. I got out of the house through the back door and ran. I ran until heard the gunshot that marked my mothers murder. I stopped long enough to catch my breath then I ran. I ran until I got to the gate that marked the end of the dictatorships supporters. Really none of us are supporters but we are forced to fight. There is no way out.

He ordered my death. He killed my mother. He would pay.

I had to find a way out but the words kept repeating over and over again in my head. "There's no way out."

I had to get to the wall.

There's no way out.

"Hup two, three, four. Hup two, three, four."

Soldiers. I ducked into the nearest alley and clung tight to the walls.

There's no way out.

Fearfully, I held tight to the wall, barely moving. Barely breathing.

"Hup two, three, four."

There's no way out.

I looked up at the wall I was clinging to, I could scale it. I was the fastest in my battalion at school before everything happened.

"Hup two, three, four. Hup two, three, four."

There's no way out.

The troops were getting closer and closer by the second. I had to move fast.

"Hup two, three, four"

There's no way out

I turned quickly and scaled the wall, just as the troops approached the alleyway

"Hup two, three... hey look over there. In the alleyway. Move, move, move!"

I made it to the roof just as the sergent and his troops made it to the spot I had been standing just seconds before. Staying low I made my way across the roofs until I emerged at another alleyway. Looking down I saw another search party standing in the alleyway, another one hot on my tail. I would have to jump. Just run and jump, simple right? Except it wasn't. It wasn't easy at all. This was never something we learned in school.

There's no way out.

I made a promise to my mom.

I looked behind me at the troops, I looked below me at the troops and I took a deep breath and began to run. The minute my right foot was on the edge of the roof I pushed off. I had no other choice. I would die either way, why not die fighting?

I went flying through the air, over the troops stationed below, just out of reach of the ones chasing me from behind, i landed on my ankle and it twisted.

There's no way out.

I pushed myself off the roof and I kept moving. I heard shouting behind me and I gritted my teeth from the pain of my ankle.

I had to keep moving.

I made it to the wall, it was higher than any of the roofs I had been jumping with ten times the troops stationed around it.

There's no way out.

I made a promise to my mom.

I jumped, landed on the wall and rolled to avoid the pain of hurting my ankle anymore.

I had to think, before the troops at the wall realized was on it. All I had was my mothers old dagger. I had literally brought a knife to a gunfight.

There's no way out.

There would be a single guard on the wall with a bow. I could knock him out and take his bow. Kill only the gaurds I had to. So that's what I did.

I had to keep moving. I had to get out there. I made a promise to my mom.

The gaurd on the wall was walking the perimeter of the wall, I found him before he could find me and knocked him out with the butt of the dagger, took his bow and took out the gaurds immediately where I would be landing. I had to take out a few of the gaurds on the roof behind me as well, I took off at a sprint for the forest. I had never ran so fast in my life. I was in the forest before they even knew I got out.
