Spending Time

I watched as Sarabi put Sasuke on the back of her Jaguar. Shere Khan galloped around the room making him squeal with joy. Sarabi turned to me staring me down with her hand resting on the hilt of her sword. "Now, what's the deal?" I wasn't sure how to break it to her. She may think I'm just being paranoid but... I know I didn't leave any dishes in my sink. A little plastic cup and a saucer. Sasuke is way too small to reach the dishes from the high cabinet, and I always leave my kitchen clean before I go to bed. "Well... I found dishes in my sink that I know I didn't put there!" As I expected, she didn't look too please.

"Yoshi! I ran down here in a tank top and shorts with no bra just because you have a few dishes in your sink?! And what makes you think Sasuke couldn't have done that?! Even if he's two, he's still a full blown soul reaper and a smart one to boot!"
I held the temples of my head in frustration. "Sarabi! Sasuke couldn't have done that! He was already asleep, and when I noticed the dishes in the sink, he was still upstairs sleeping!" Sarabi rubbed the bridge of her nose in anger. She is not the person to mess with when she's sleepy. I leaned up against the wall with my arms folded watching her. As much as she tried to persuade me it was nothing, I refused to take this lightly.

"So what is it you want me to do Yosh?! I can't fight something that's not there!"
"How about you stick around?! I don't wanna be here by myself!"

I stared Sarabi down as I felt my face warm up. I clutched my shirt where Aizen stabbed me right before he left. I couldn't help but to let a tear or two fall. "You may not think this is a big deal, but believe me it is! I refuse to let him haunt and terrorize me and my son. You heard him say it yourself! He would be back for me! Why can't you empathize with me for a moment!"
She looked me up and down as I wiped away my tears and sat on one of my couches. I can't stand to cry in front of anyone! I feel so vulnerable!

I heard her sigh and take a few steps towards me. Before I could wipe away my last tear, I felt Sarabi cup my face in her hands and wipe the tear away with her thumb. I looked into her now Magenta eyes as she smiled at me. "There ain't no way in hell Ima let that shitty bastard separate us. And don't you worry your pretty little blue head, I'll stay here as long as you want me to okay?" She kissed my forehead and hugged me. It really is nice to have an older sister...
"Now stop your crying.. You look so weak right now.. " Sarabi teased as she backed away from me and dashed up the stairs cackling the whole way. "...I'LL SHOW YOU WEAK!" I could feel my face heat up again from irritation as I stormed up the stairs after her.
...SOMETIMES!!... ITS NICE TO HAVE AN OLDER SISTER... SOMETIMES!!

(Later that night)

We all decided to sleep downstairs with 'Oba Rabi' as Sasuke would say. He stayed up as long as he could before he decided to crash on his Oba's 'giant melons' for the night. Seriously, I didn't think anyone could beat out Rangiku but here she stands before me! Sasuke yawned in his sleep as he turned to a new comfortable position on Sarabi. She held him close as she kissed his forehead. "He's so sweet. He kinda makes me wanna have a kid of my own." I chuckled at my sister. "Its a lovely experience... Until the poopy diapers show up." She made a disgusted face as she thought back to changing Sasuke a few times. We laid ourselves out across my couches as we munched on Doritos and watched this awesome series called "Steven Universe". These humans may be frail but they make killer shows and music.. Oh and food! Can't forget that!

"Masayoshi.. "

I looked over to Sarabi. "Wassup?"

"I wanna tell you about these reoccurring dreams Ive been having, I want you to tell me what they mean."

I looked towards her with curiousness written on my face. "Ookay?.. Let's hear it."

She told me how a man with tribal paint on his body saved her from a panther in a desert (if you haven't read The Sarabi Child you may be a little lost.) and how the man in her current dream was the panther before. I was skeptical to ask her the next question. "Sarabi.. Could you feel anything around you? Could you feel pain?"
She pondered on my question before answering. "Come to think of it.. Yeah! When the panther pinned me and when the crazy hot guy grabbed my face and waist!"
I groaned realizing what was going on. Sarabi possessed the power to leave her current form in one dimension and create a temporary one in another.
"Sarabi.. That wasn't a dream!.. That was real life." Sarabi popped her lip in response. "Girl please. As crazy as he was, even with the jaw bone, there's no man alive that is that fine."

I shook my head as I laughed at my perverted sister. "Seriously Rabi, you weren't dreaming. That is a rare power in the Jibade tribe. It's called 'Ichiji Umarekawari' only a few select of our family members can do it. I wonder where you transported yourself to... And as far as the man with the tribal paint.. He kinda sounds like dad..."
Sarabi looked away from me and stared down at the sleeping Jaguar on my floor. "That's exactly what Kisuke said.."

The room became silent of our voices. Eventually, Sarabi sighed and started to giggle. "Whats so funny?"

"I just realized I talked alotta of shit to him before I left.. That plus I called him cutie pie!" She grinned.

"You're an idiot sis.. For your sake you better hope he never finds you!"

"I'm not worried.. What are the odds?"
