"Hi nice to meet you Elizabeth."

"Its Elise..." I mumble.

"Did you say something?" she says.

"It's my pleasure. I say with a sarcastic look on my face."

"Well are you ready Elizabe-"

"Yeah." I cut her off and sigh as I start to follow her.  At the door I wave goodbye  and walk outside taking a deep breathe. None of the children outside notice I'm leaving and no one bothers to say anything.

We take the short cut down the road and we head towards a less familiar area surrounded by trees. Actually I'm surprised I've never seen this building before. I look around at each tree hearing no sound whatsoever. Not even a bird. Which I would think since we're surrounded by trees that there would at least be a couple chirps here and there but no, it's complete silence. Something I'm not used to hearing and like it.

I place my bags down; the only bags I have that is and start going towards the nice yellow looking house though right before I open the door I turn back to notice Sierra pointing towards the woods as she says,

"This way love."

I pick up my bags again and I follow her. I don't say anything even though I find this a little strange. She's still a stranger to me. I've only known her for a day.

I looked back at the woman, her face seeming more dense and less happy than I saw it before. She glances back at me a couple times to make sure I was close behind and keeps on moving forwards as I keep on finding her and myself going deeper and deeper into the forest. The deeper we got into the forest the darker it was. Still no sound of anything living. It's like walking down a street at night.

I finally get the courage to say something after all this time of walking Ive gotten quite comfortable; comfortable enough that is to talk to a stranger.

"So, are you going to be my new mum?" Seems like a reasonable question to me.

"If you want me to be." she answers back.

"Just thought I would bring that up because my mum and dad were never there for me and so Its strange to know I might actually have a parental guardian."

"I'll try my best to be the mum you've wanted." she says.

I smile.

The ground is muddy. So much that my feet sink into the ground and I have to pull my self up with every step that I take now. I wouldn't be surprised if it was quicksand.

The sun faded away covered by a cloud. It's dark and I can barely see myself. I feel drops of water; rain falling onto my skin as I move. My legs are starting to become sore.

"Hey um where is this place exactly?" I ask.

She stops walking with no answer and looks down.  My eyes lead towards the direction her eyes are going and I walk closer.  The closer I walk the more un easy I feel inside. I look down. It' s a puddle? I think anyway's.

"Here." she says.

I walk next to Sierra."Why are w-" She pushes me into the puddle. Everything feels heavy as I start actually sinking into the ground. I look up at the woman with the mud nearly at my neck towards my face. The woman ignores and walks away.

"Help!" I scream even though I know its only me its nice to feel some kind of hope. I grab onto a branch next to me and try to pull myself up. Using all my strength nothing happens.

This is the end of me. The mud is so thick that once my head goes under I'll suffocate and that will be the end of me. The sad thing is is that I don't think anyone will realize I'm dead.

My head goes under and I black out for a second or before finding myself falling like as if I was in Alice in Wonderland. I was in the never ending fall as it felt. I dropped so quickly that once I was knocked out on the way to the bottom I never realized it was because of a rock.
