Today, my dad was taking me to work with him but he had a very different job.

His name is Paul.

My name is Cat.

Cat Higgins.

Yes my dad is Paul Higgins, bodyguard for One Direction.

So apparently the One Direction boys had a signing today and I got to go.

I don't ever want to tell anyone because I don't want to be laughed at or judged but I have always had a small crush on Niall so I'm so scared about today.

Will I look horrible?

Will I act weird?

Dear god I hope not.

The boys are coming over here.

Oh no, Niall looks so cute.

His hair is perfect and he has like the best clothes on.

"Hey Cat! It's great to see you!" Louis said giving me a hug.

"It's great to see you guys too." I said.

Each of the guys gave me a hug but when Niall got to me, the hug was tighter and I felt more secure.

"I'm glad you're here." Niall whispered.

"It's great to be here." I said softly.

He pulled away and then my dad came over.

"Alright guys. You have to go out now." He said.

The boys waved to me as they walked by and went out to go sign things.

My heart fluttered a little when Niall gave me a sly smirk.

Soon, the boys were out my vision so I left to go somewhere else.

My dad was watching the boys so I was all alone and I managed to end up in the middle of a hallway.

Ok wow.

I pulled out my phone and started playing Candy Crush.

Does this game anger anyone besides me?

It seems like I always lose and there's now at of winning.

I played awhile longer until I saw shoes right in front of me.

I looked up and my eyes met with Niall's icy blue ones.

"Whatcha doing?" He asked.

"Playing a stupid game that I can't win at." I laughed.

"Candy Crush?" He asked.

"Yes actually." I said a bit surprised. "I always lose at that game too." He said.

"I'm so glad I'm not the only one." I smiled. "So how was the signing?"

"It was really fun." He said as we started walking a little farther from everyone. "It's different every time with these fans but I love them. Today I got a cookie so I was pretty happy."

"Of course you would." I said.

There was a small silence that was a little awkward but then we both spoke at the same time.

"You first." I said.

We stopped walking and then he turned to look at me.

"Cat, I don't want to ruin our friendship by saying this but I've liked you for awhile and when your dad first brought you with him and I laid my eyes on you, I knew I had to have you. Will you be my girlfriend?" He said with pleading eyes.

I couldn't even believe what he just said.

He actually wants to date me?

I've always wanted to date him!

I realized that I had to answer him so I finally got the courage to say something.

"I'd love to be." I smiled.

He wrapped his arms around me and I hugged him back.

I soon heard loud clapping and pulled away quickly.

Niall and I diverted our attention to the noise and saw all 4 boys there clapping.

"He finally had the balls to ask her out!" Louis shouts.

I blushed a little but then I was pulled into another hug by Niall.

"Don't listen to them. You're mine now and that's all that matters." He whispered in my ear.

Then I knew that this would be pretty good.
