Turned into a Demon!

Chapter 5 The Chase!

I followed him of course. He followed a path and I followed him.  The trees swayed in the wind the weather changed to cooler temperature as I made my way to catch to him. When I rounded a corner he was gone. I looked around for him. Fuck he was gone. He couldn't have disappeared. Could he. NO! That was impossible. So I looked up in the trees. Then I saw something. More like two creatures.

"Eric which one is you?"

"Which one I am right here."

And he jumped down and ran to her side. Then he saw it to. Another creature in the trees.

"Run!" He said.

"W-What."

"I said run!"

So I took of. I guess all of the Cross Country running I did payed of. I was gone in a flash. Then I stopped. What the hell am I doing? I couldn't leave Eric alone with that creature. So I ran back and seen him him talking to to it.

"Leave her alone."

It whispers something I couldn't hear.

"What do you want then."

Whispers.

"NO! You can't!"

More whispers.

"She has a soul, take me instead I don't remember."

I steeped to get a better look,but instead I had to step on a fucking trig. It snapped of course. Why not! They also heard and it the black  creature had to see me because it came after me. I was frozen intill someone tackled me to the ground.

"I told you to leave."

"I wont leave you."

"You could..." Eric got cut off by getting by the creature pulling him away from me.

"Eric NO!' I screamed as he got dragged deeper in the woods. I had to follow him. Burt first I had get a light and tell the others to help or leave. They left. Pussies. So I had to face this thing by myself. Of course why not. So I followed the grove left by him.

"Eric." I whispered. No answer. Then I found a old mine. I had to go in to find him. I seen a blood trail leading in it. I followed. Was it Eric or the creatures?  I thought to myself. Then I stopped in my tracks as I heard an blood curdling scream. Eric! So I followed the screams that filled my ears. I came to an empty space and saw him getting tortured. 

"NO STOP IT!"I screamed. And I ran over to him. He seen me and tried to get me out of the way but I was to fast and I ran to his side. 

"You are so stubborn Alyssa."

"I told you I am never going to leave you."

"Well that is nice,but this time you have to ,look around you."

I looked and saw thousands of creatures staring down at me.
