They all looked at each other and Garrett looked nervous. "Isabella I'm sure the other time you met us we told you of our diet and how the eye colors work," Carlisle said nervously. "Yes you did, yellow is for animal drinkers and red is for human drinkers," i said smiling. "Yes that is correct, well Garrett is a human drinker," he said. "I know," i stated. "I can switch to animal blood if you want me to, i don't want to scare you away," he said. "No Garret, you can never scare me away, and i like your eyes just the way they are Garrett, i was only wondering since you're a Cullen why you hadn't taken on their diet," i said putting my hand on his cheek. He lent into the warmth and i smiled. "I'm not exactly a Cullen i kept my last name from my human life, I'm just a friend of the family here," he said. I nodded my head then looked down at my lap. "Garrett how were you changed?" i asked quietly. I felt him tense and i looked up at him. ,"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to," i said hurriedly. "No its ok, I'll tell you. After i left you i went to the battlefield, we were fighting and we were winning, then all of a sudden our men started dropping like flies, there was a vampire on the field, all the big wars were like open season for vampires, they could eat without any suspicion, by the time he got to me he was full so he didn't finish me off, he thought i was dead so he just left me there.....all i can remember thinking was that i wouldn't get to see you again, i wouldn't get to tell you how much i loved you, and then the burning started, i didn't scream though, i kept telling myself to be strong for you, on the third day my heart stopped and i had no idea what i was, the war was still going on and i still hated those English bastards so i ate like half of their army and i made sure i killed all of the ones i ate, it was then that i knew what i was, a vampire, i went back to the cottage to see you and i found that you were gone, i vowed that day that i would look for you and i would find you, after a while i met Carlisle, even for an Englishmen we got along, he had just left those Volturi asses and he

was going to America so i tagged along with him, we stayed together for a couple years and then i continued my search for you, after about 50 years i gave up my search, i knew you would probably be dead by then, but somewhere deep in my heart i had hope that maybe you had ran into a vampire and had been changed, after that i spent most of my life in sollitude at a house i had bought up until 2 years ago," he explained. "What happened 2 years ago?" i asked curious. "Carlisle found me and told me him and his coven were moving to a place named Forks and he wanted me to come, i remembered where you told me you where from that night so i went with him and his family and we came here, for the first year i just stayed in my room only coming out to feed, but then when school started again i enrolled as a senior with Emmett, Rosalie, and Jasper, the day you first came i wasnt there because i was feeding out of state, but when i came back that night they told me they had met a girl at school who seemed to know me, imagine my suprise when they tell me her name was Isabella Swan and was wearing the same exact necklace i had given to an Isabella Swan over a hundred years ago, when i saw you today i couldnt believe my eye, i thought i was hallucinating at first, but i knew it was you when you looked in my eyes and felt the mating pull, but i knew i couldnt do anything yet, when you ran out i paniced and ran after you i knew i couldnt lose you again like i did before, i would keep you in my sight no matter what, i would love you with all my existence, and i would give you the world if you asked of it, i will do everything in my power to keep you by my side Isabella," he said with un-shed tears in his eyes. I knew if he wasnt a vampire those tears would be rolling down his face just as mine were doing. "I love you Garrett," i said hugging him. "I love you to my Isabella," he whispered into my hair. He was my everything now, and i would not be letting him go anytime soon.
