A/N- This is loosely based off a dream I had recently.
You had just finished up a wendigo hunt. On the way back to the bunker, the car was completely silent. When Dean pulled into the bunker's garage, Sam got out and immediately went to his room. Followed by you and Dean heading to your shared one. You patched each other up in complete silence. But you could tell something was on his mind by the frustrated look on Dean's face. "What is it?" you asked. "I could've lost you tonight." he answered in his gruff voice. "But you didn't." "I know but I could've. You made a stupid decision jumping in front of me." he said a little angrily. "You were gonna get hurt Dean! What was I supposed to do? Let it happen?!" I said raising my voice. He sat there quietly. When he didn't say anything, I kept talking. "I don't understand what the problem is. I mean, you would've done the same for me or Sammy. Right?" He still didn't answer. "Whatever, i'm going to bed." I crawled under the covers and fell asleep.
I woke up about an hour later to the feeling of his arms wrapping around my waist. "I'm sorry baby. You're right, I would've." he said, referring back to my earlier question. "I just don't think I deserve to be alive with all stress I put you and Sam under with the Mark and having to deal with Metatron-" I interrupted him. "You listen to me Dean Winchester. None of what you said is true and you know it. I mean sure the Mark's been a problem ever since you got it but that doesn't mean i'm not fighting it along with you." "Thanks babe." He said "Your welcome. Now, let's go to sleep. I'm sure Sammy found us another case." "Alright, night." "Night handsome."
A/N- Sorry about the weird ending. For some reason I couldn't remember how my dream ended.
