My heartbeat felt as if it was thumping out of my chest. There in front of me, my boyfriend of three years heatedly kissing some other girl as I tried my best not to let a tear slip out of my eyes. He hadn't even noticed me yet, I hurriedly ran from the girls toilets and out of the school. My eyes weren't any help to me as I fumbled, clumsily to open and get into my car. They were a blurry mess of unshed tears until my door was shut and I let the dam flow.
My mind showed me the image of them together over and over and over again. She was gorgeous, I mean, I knew I wasn't societies idea of beautiful or anything...could that be why he chose her?
How could he do that though? I thought he loved me? I've loved him for as long as I can remember. I know it may be cheesy but I thought we would grow old with each other... Was it all a lie? Was I not good enough? Maybe I did something wrong, I must've. Oh, no, It's all my fault. I'm such an idiot to think that anyone could love someone like me. I wasn't pretty, my long drab brown hair, my dull pale grey-blue eyes, the unsightly freckles that dotted my body, but more centered on my cheeks, and the annoying glasses I had to wear for my poor sight weren't the most appealing feature either. I didn't have the best the body shape either with a small chest, I had curves but I also had thick, fatty thighs with gigantic feet. I was somewhat of a tomboy and an introvert; loving to fall into the abyss of my books and just daydream. So I wasn't exactly a social butterfly, more of an outsider and rather nerdy.
But he was perfect. He was the quarterback of the football team, the one every girl dreamt of being with. He was absolutely, breathtakingly beautiful. With deep ocean blue eyes that I found impossible not to be lost in, a white smoldering smile, and adorable dimples to highlight the corners of his mouth. He was strong, yet so gentle. And I loved him with every bone in my body so much that it hurt. I should've know it would never last.
I probably sat in my car for hours, until I heard a tap on the window. I looked up to see a petite girl with warm brown eyes staring down at me with a comforting smile. I hurriedly tried to wipe the tears from my eyes with the palms of my hands, but it was of no use with the red coating the rims of my eyes. She opened the door, which I had forgotten to unlock, and simply said three words.
"Hi, I'm Kaila."
I couldn't even muster words to leave my mouth, and it was like she new I wasn't going to say a word and quickly said, "Would you like to go get ice cream with me." My mind was fuzzy from what had happened and I almost imperceptibly shook my head yes.
She gave me a wide smile and then asked if I would like her to drive as she quickly glanced at my hands which led my to eyes follow her path, only to realize that my hands were shaking uncontrollably.
I stood up from the car and she helped me up and around to the passenger side of the vehicle and opened the door for me. I tried to buckle but my hands were shaking so horribly that I couldn't seem to accomplish it. She reached over and gently took the belt from me and snapped it into place. Leaning over back into her seat and snapping her own belt into place. She turned the keys in the ignition and stepped on the gas, and pulling out from the parking lot and into wherever we were going.

Welps, it didn't really turn out as planned and I kinda like the beginning of this so I'm going to try and continue with all of the rest of my unfinished works.
No promises on updating because I am absolutely terrible about it.
All me love, shbug6
