Vinaya's POV
The day welcomed me with some little light rays that reach even underneath my closed eyes. I shift my back towards the headboard and slowly blink my eyes settling my vision from the light. The house was certainly surrounded with deadly silence and so I open my stereo and bring it on with loud volume then do my usual morning rituals. My morning was definitely lighten up with applauding vibes plus the music which completely bring out adrenaline that takes over rushing through my veins.
Excitement was definitely not too close enough and just an understatement of what I happen to feel at this moment. I made my way out of the house after everything was clear (my morning rituals, haven't taken anything for breakfast yet still full and finally fixed stuffs all over the house reassuring its safe and sound picture).
The outside was circled with warm and relaxing air that trails throughout my bare facade. Yet excitement was still composed underneath my odd beating heart, WEIRD. I hope this day will be filled with things that would certainly be enough to my indulgence.
Sorting out my little dreamy thoughts, I made my slow pace going to the University since I don't have mom to afford me a ride. Luckily, the University is just a fifteen-minute walk away from home. Indeed not a big deal for me.
My walk was all wasted as my thoughts remain uncertain with my plans about that rubbish guilds. That opinion was undeniably killing my serene schemes and completely destroying my low profile status.
Entering the campus, I stare at the crowd, then was apparently taken out from reality as I situated myself at the middle of the crowd. I was having little chitchats with strange people while my face was composed with genuine smile.
'Seriously Vin?' I asked myself shaking my head side by side in disbelief. Dreadful thoughts were truly darkening my cynical notion. And seems seconds were completely have been way too long since I'm impatiently waiting for the bell to ring throwing off everyone's crap stuff for the mean time. But then to my surprise the ringing of the bell was suddenly switched into a voice from the intercom.
"Good morning guys, Mr. Mercer here as your speaker for the mean while. Okay so, everyone is instructed to head your way at the campus ground. Students designated in organizing and accommodating each guild's new members should be aware of your tasks responsible enough. And as far as your grades were concerned, please be more prudent and ultra practical as well. So good luck guys, enjoy and make every minute count useful in everyone's benevolence."
As the instructions went on a halt all of us head our way filling the campus ground and do as we are told. I wander myself around the place while recalling my mom's opinions yesterday. I was completely dead at my tracks, the front of my sight is witnessing an artistic booth with a wooden board nailed at both sides above the portal. That easily caught my eyes. And it says " ARTIFICER" obviously one of the guilds' name. I was taken by surprise as my feet slowly take small paces towards the booth.
Honestly, I hate it sometimes when my instinct takes its place out of boonies and unfortunately at the wrong timing.
"Guys I think someone invited herself inside obviously... Hey want to join us?" a guy asked with his most encouraging smile.
"Oh I am... I mean I don't have any idea about your guild, can you please enlighten me?" I said at my most confident way just to hide my shyness and even my cynical thoughts.
"Sure!" he quickly replied still having his signature smile I guess. He gently holds me at my wrist and raise my hand up high and telling everyone at my presence.
