Half of the practice went on in girls just asking for autogaphs or pictures or something. Coach was annoyed, but he had to act nice in front of the well known setter.

You sighed, tossing the ball in the air and letting it hit the wall, fall back to the ground and then again receiving it underhand.

Your whole being was annoyed by the squeals and screams from girls. Once they were done taking pictures, they just switched to talking and laughing.

Your tosses became more fierce and the ball bounced faster. All because of your sudden act of jealousy.

It was frustrating you to no end that no matter how much you worked on those small things to catch his attention, it was always those fangirls that got in your way. Eren Jäger came to your mind with his infamous quote 'I'll kill them all!'.

You sighed and caught the ball in your hands. "That would be nice." You muttered while shooting a quick glare their way.

This didn't escape Oikawa's keen eyes. Was he annoying you while interrupting your practice? But Iwa-chan suggested it so it can't be bad. Then why are you glaring his way.

"Oikawa-kun?" The girls called, catching him staring at you from the corner of his eyes. "Huh? Oh, I am sorry."

He rubbed the back of his neck and smiled apologetically. Even though, his thoughts kept on flying back to you. Could it be that Iwa-chan lead him to his failure?

"(N/n)-chan!" Whole gym looked at the entrance and your eyes lit up. You looked at the coach with pleading eyes.

"Can I go to the club room? My friend brought me notes from the class I missed!" You bowed down and waited for the coach to yell at you for being irresponsible, but it never came. "Just hurry up with it." He said.

You could hear the bitterness in his voice. Honestly, you had to thank Oikawa for intruding, later. You jogged to (bff/n) and smiled.

Her eyes gleamed mischievously and she stared at you expectingly.

"Oikawa-kun is there." She said once the two of you were out of the hearing range of anyone in the gym. You just nodded your head and kept your mouth shut.

"Is there anything wrong?" (Bff/n) asked, her voice laced with concern. Even though you had trouble showing your emotions to people, she knew that you were never this quiet. You looked up at the sky with a long sigh.

"You know, I am thinking about giving up..." Her gasp covered your disappointed sigh. She grabbed your shoulders and shook you rather violently. "Are you insane? You aren't giving up now! Both of us worked so hard in the past half of the year! We have just as much time to get him wrapped around your finger."

She finally let go of you and pushed you back to the gym. "I heard he is an amazing setter. You're a wing spiker, ask him to practice together!" She gave you one last push before continuing to walk towards the club room with keys she snatched from your hands.

You had tears in your eyes as you tried coming up with a scenarios in your head. Quickly making sure you have no tears anywhere close to your face, you stepped in the gym.

"I'm back." You muttered, expecting to see at least someone doing something, but they were all crowded around Oikawa, laughing at something.

You cleared your throat and walked right up to the crowd. Pushing your way through, you shot some apologetic smiles to the girls.

"I am sorry to interrupt whatever you are doing. However, I need Oikawa-kun for a moment or two." You said, looking at the girls around you.

They were annoyed, but saying anything to their senpai and captain was quite fatal. Oikawa pulled you out of the group and smiled at you. It was one of his infamous charming smile.

"I was wondering if you could set a few for me. I am a wing spiker and it would be really amazing if you would do this for me." You avoided his gaze, embarrassed and scared that he will just brush you off.

"Anything for you, (F/n)-chan." He winked, making you blush even darker.

Guide:

(F/n) - First name
(L/n) - Last name
(N/n) - nickname
(Bff/n) - best friend's name. I had trouble with this. I had to put bff/n because I used f/n for your name, bf/n would be mistaken for boyfriend's name, so bff is... You know... The most logical choice
(E/c) - eye color
(H/c) - hair color
(F/e/c) - friend's eye color
(F/h/c) - friend's hair color
