Chapter 19

Max said he will take me to the office
It has been forever since I saw everyone
I asked Sunny if she wanted to come
She said she had to work
So it's just me that's going I guess

*time skip to office*

As soon as I walked into the office
I see red (Michael but I'll just type red BC it's faster)
I run up to red and give him a kiss on the cheek
Me and red are pretty close friends
He helped me get over my depression when max left me
I think max saw me kiss red on the cheek
But he knows we aren't a thing
I go to max and to tell him thanks but he distracted me
"Hey Shelby can we talk" max says
"Yeah sure!" I say
"Wanna go out on a date for lunch?" He asked
"Sure" I say
*time skip to 11:30 am*

30 minutes has passed since max asked me on a date
I just finished a recording
Then someone comes in to my studio (office, room? I don't know the word to use)
It was red
"Hey Shelby wanna go out for lunch. It's not a date. Only to catch up" he says
I really want to go on a date with max but he will understand
Red is my friend I wanna catch up also
We haven't seen each other for a while unlike max and me
So the date can wait
"Sure" I say
"Great see ya at 12" red says

I go into the editors bowl and talk to max

"Hey max sorry I can't go on the date" I say
"Why?" He asked still looking at his screen watching YouTube
That got me annoyed
He acted like he didn't care
I know he does
But can't he look away from the video and look at me while I'm talking
"Because I'm going to lunch with red" I say with a smile
"Okay. Enjoy yourself" he says still looking at the video

GRR WHY DO MEN HAVE TO BE LIKE THIS?!?
