"So I see I missed out on a lot." Hoseok mumbled.

"Yeah." Jimin nodded.

"And now you're telling me that nobody's talking to you anymore? So you just decided to visit me? Am I your second choice or something?"

Jimin started panicking so he started stumbling on his words. "Uh, wait what? No, I mean, I—"

"I was kidding. You're easy to fool. Given the things that happened, I see you're still the same. And I'm glad you came. I was starting to get lonely."

"Oh. You don't get visitors?"

"I haven't heard from my parents in so long. I kind of miss them." Hoseok looked down. "But I'm in a mental hospital. What do they want from a kid like me? They probably forgot I even existed."

"Maybe they miss you too?"

"I doubt it." He shook his head. "Whatever. How's Yoongi?"

Jimin looked at him. "He's uh, fine."

"So if he didn't step into your life, you would've been married to Taehyung, right?"

"Right." Jimin slowly nodded, still not believing something like that could've happened. "You really never had visitors?"

"Well I did. A few weeks ago. But they stopped coming." He looked down. "I was happy but as you can see, I'm being punished for what I've done."

"Maybe something happened to them? Don't you wanna make sure they're okay?"

"No. I'm sure they're doing just fine."

"How can you be so sure?"

"Because I know. Deep down inside, I know they're perfectly fine without me. And I'm okay with it. I'm sure they found the perfect person to be with and I'm happy for them." He cracked a smile.

"You should smile more." Jimin mumbled.

"What? Are you coming onto me?"

"What? No! God damn it, never mind what I said." Jimin rolled his eyes.

"I was kidding, you know. Anyways, you should probably go back. Maybe things have calmed down. And if they didn't, you know where to find me."

"I'm scared to go back."

"You have to face your fears sooner or later, Jimin."

Jimin knew he was right. For some reason, he didn't completely regret coming to Hoseok. He might dislike him for what he has done in the past but he can try and pretend that nothing happened.

Just for the sake of it.

"I have a feeling I'll be coming here way more often." Jimin murmured as he stood up and walked towards the door.

"You're welcome anytime. It's not like I'm ever busy with anything but stare at these walls."
