A day with James

Chapter 2:

"Uh. Are you okay?" a voice asks

You sit up with a jolt.

"Huh? What?" you gasp. "What... happened?"

You loose your balance and fall back on the bed. Your vision blurs. Blinking, you attempt to sit up again. A hand reaches out to help you.

"Hey. Are you alright?" someone asks again.

They help you stand up. You regain your balance and look at the person who is speaking. You are speechless.

"You took a pretty big fall there!" they laugh.

You look at the speaker.

"Jjj...James?" you ask

He laughs.

"Yeah?" he smiles.

Your eyes grow wide. Your mouth smiles.

"Oh. My.Gosh..."

You suddenly regain strength to stand on your own. You drop his hand. James is standing right in front of you.

"I am so so sorry!" you exclaim.

I must have passed out from excitement. you think. You brush the thought off and look around. This didn't look like a convention center at all. It looked like a hotel room!

"Where am I" you wonder aloud.

"Oh, Well you passed out so suddenly I just cut the meet and greet short and ran you to my hotel room. You've Been passed out for hours. I have been worried sick!" James responded. He seemed to be shaken up by the whole event.

"Y-your hotel room?"
This is a dream come true! you think to yourself.
"I'm so... hungry."  You say, shocked to be so casual about standing in the middle of your idols hotel room.

"Want to grab a bite to eat? My treat!" Said James happily.

You nod and get yourself together before heading down the hall to the elevator with him. A fan girl notices James and runs up quickly to you both.

"OMIGOD JAMES! THEODD1SOUT! I LOVE YOUR WORK!" She's practically screaming. "OMIGOD IS THIS YOUR GIRLFRIEND?!"

"G-girlfriend?!" You say, shocked.

"OMIGOD MY OTP IS RUINED NOW! JAYDEN X JAMES FOR LIIIFE!" She quickly scurried down the hall after taking an photo of the two of you.

"Well that was totally awkward" You say, attempting to lighten the mood. James smiles back at you.

"Totally! But I'm used to fan girls and fanboys at this point. I'm happy to make so many people happy." He said as the elevator opened. There was luckily no one inside so you two sat there alone. Together. Alone with James...

"Ahem," you clear your throat and look at him. "So... this elevator is sure taking a long time..." You smile and try to start a conversation. But you realize, it doesn't even feel like you're moving anymore. "Jesus... are we trapped in here?"

James also realizes what you feel. "Oh my gosh... i think.. we might be. Ok don't panic. Ill call for help!"

You begin to yell. "Help! Help Help!" But no one says anything. You sink down onto the ground and begin to cry. You should be at a convention having the time of your life but now your stuck in an elevator! Suddenly you feel an arm wrap around you and a soft hand brush away your tears.

"Hey, its okay. You're going to be okay. You're not alone." You look up to see James comforting you. It makes you feel warm inside. He smiles. "So what's your name?" He asked.

"I-its Y/N" you respond shakily.

"Y/N... what a beautiful name. I'm James- although I'm guessing you already knew that huh?" He laughed.

You smile as he sits with you. Perhaps being caught in an elevator isn't as bad as you thought it was.

"And then I said 'Let's go get Sooubway!' And no one got the joke!" You laughed. James laughed with you, It had been 3 hours since you first got trapped in the elevator and still no one had come to help. In this time you guys played games on your phones, played charades, told stories, and now had nothing left to do.
"Now what?" You asked. "I dont think anyone is coming any time soon."

James frowned. "Don't be so negative, Y/N. Someone will come... eventually."

You sighed and looked into his eyes. A little spark seemed to bubble in your chest. It was if... love had struck.

James looked back at you, leaned in slowly, and planted a soft peck on your lips. You jolted back in surprise.

"I-I'm sorry, Y/N" James stuttered. But you quickly shut him up with another kiss. A raw, passionate kiss that would leave any romance movie in the dust.

"I think i love you, Y/N" James said sheepishly. "I know its ridiculous but something inside of me... it just knows i do."
"I... I love you too James." You reply.

You share another kiss and hold each other in your arms.
