'We got a number 349!! NUMBER 39! TO BE TAKEN INTO EMERGENCY!'
The hospital room was spinning. Everyone was screaming around his body and I felt as if I were going to fall. That's when I did. And I can't remember anymore.
38 HOURS LATER
'Miss Singh? Are you awake?'
I open my eyes slowly, that's when I remember Yousef, I start breathing fast and some voices start screaming. That's when someone took my hand, Aman. I look up and he looks so worried. My pulse calms and I take off the oxygen mask,
'Aman?'
'Shh Lilly, please, you need to rest.'
'What happened?'
'You had a fall, hit your head and have a mild concussion.'
'Yousef?! Where is Yousef?'
'He was released a few hours ago.'
'Where is he?'
'He left.'
'Did he know? That I fell.'
'He did. He said that too much has happened. Apparently you make him crazy.'
'What?! Crazy?!'
'And Dom. He left with him. They sent a video, for you to me. Would you like to see it?'
I nod my head. I feel so. I actually don't know how I feel. Aman gives me the phone. Yousef and Dom are walking fast, holding the phone close to their faces Yousef says:
'Hey Lilly. Hope you are okay. Um.' He turns around said something and looks back at me sadly. 'We don't want to see you again. You ruined our lives. The love we had was a drug. It was way too much... Bye. And remember, hope everything loves pizza ugly socks.' the video stops. Tears drip down my face.
'Hey Lilly don't cry. I'm here.'
'Why? Why why would they do this?'
'They're useless Lil. They don't know love.'
I don't know what to do. I feel like everything I had with them was a lie.
'You need to stay here for a night and a bit. I will be with you, for whatever you need.'
'I need you to send me the video.'
'Are you sure?'
'Yes. But. Can I have the room?'
'Of course love.'
Love? Anyways I open up the video. I watch it over and over again. I cry and cry. But the last part! It doesn't make any sense.
