The '10' Planets

There are 7 planets, the Sun and Moon are called luminaries and Pluto is still an asteroid but, saying 10 planets makes saying all that easier.

The Sun
Changes sign ever 27- 30 days
The Sun represents your ego, your personality.

It also represents the traits you learn from your father and how you see him.

Aspects to the sun and what ever house your sun falls into can tell is if your father was too authoritive, too soft, or just not around.

The Moon
Changes sign every 2 -3 days.
The moon represents your emotions, instincts, and what you consider home.

It also represents the traits you got from your mother, how you see her and the kind of relationship you have with her.

Mercury
Changes sign
Mercury represents how you think and how you communicate.

Mercury can tell you how you learn things.

Venus
Venus represents how you love, what you love, and what you find beautiful.

It also represents how your mother taught you to express your feminine side.

Mars
Represents how you assert yourself, your physical energy, and what you are sexually attracted to.

Mars also represents how your father taught you to express your masculine side.

Jupiter
Changes sign every two years
Represents how you grow as a person and where you are most lucky.

Saturn
Changes ever 2 and 1/2 years
Represents how you learn lessons, take responsibility, and are restricted.

Uranus
Represents how our lives change conventionally.

This effects a whole generation but it strongly influence people with Aquarius rising or Uranus is dominant in their natal chart.

Neptune
considered a planet of inspiration, dreams, psychic receptivity, illusion, and confusion.
It effects the whole generation.

But it strongly effects people with Pisces rising or people with dominant Neptune.

Pluto
Changes sign every 12-31 years
Represents where transform through letting go our ego.
