When you were a child you always rethought of what's out in the woods. Your father told you many beautiful and scary things live there, He always told you why they aren't allowed out in public. Or in the real world.

"Sweetie, You shouldn't worry about them, Your here and safe. What is there that you need?" Your father said with a light smile. "Why aren't they allowed to come out?"

You said with your child imagination running wild at the thought of all those story books you heard or read were all true. The Boogeyman, Dragons, Goblins, and Witches.

Then again he did say there was beautiful things like Princesses, Hansel and Gretal, Mermaids, and Fairies. But you didn't understand, Why weren't they allowed to come out?

"Daddy, I don't get it! Why don't they show themselves...Not...All things are that bad. Right?" You asked with wonder. "Well if they did then mean people will take them away and do bad stuff like hurt them. Do you want that to happen do you?"

Your eyes widen and shook your head frantically, He chuckled at your reaction. He walked to your door and went to go turn off the light. "But you forgot to answer my question Daddy!" He stopped to look at you.

He remembered the question, He just didn't want to answer it. "Well...It-" Your Mother called for him. "Jaxon he's back again!" His eyes paled slightly.

You tilted your head, Wondering what she meant. "I'll see you in the morning my little (Y/N)." His voice almost a whisper, But he did it with a sad smile. You knew something was up but whenever you tried to ask your father about that night he'd make up an excuse that he has to go do something or someone calls to talk or him to help with what their doing.

You sighed and felt a light tap on your head that brought you out of your flashback and thoughts. You looked up at your Dad as he pointed at the menu.

"Oh, Sorry!" He chuckled. He went back to his menu and looked through it. You picked up the menu, Still wondering on what was going on that day. "Are you ready to order?" The same woman named Terri said.

"Ah yes, I would like eggs, Sunny side up with ham, Bacon cooked to the side and I would like to trade the biscuit with hash browns please." Your Father said.

The woman wrote all of that down on her notepad. "And what would you like?" She looked to you with a smile.

"Uhh, (F/B/M) please!" She wrote it all down and took your menus, She walked away. You looked out the window and kept rethinking, You heard someone say your name and looked around.

You looked to your father and seen he was talking to you. "So what are you going to be or do on Halloween?" You stared at him and shrugged. "What costume isn't taken nor slutty."

He shook his head. "I know you wouldn't try to be that, That's why I'm not complaining." He said. "And what I'm doing is getting free candy from people then barricade my room. Maybe I'll eat Tommy's next if he goes back or attempt to get into my room. I'm tired of that little nugget barging in there."

He snorted and rubbed his face. "That's my girl." You giggled and you both talked to each other while waiting. After about 10 minutes you got your food, You almost drooled at the sight. It was like an angel slapped on some of her holyness onto that shit.
