As pain filled my heart
I realised you were never really mine
As pain welled up in my eyes
I realised that I was never enough
As I heard my heart crash to the earth
Once again
I realised... I never knew pain until you
Never have I seen my real smile before you
As my face rest on the empty look of feeling nothing and feeling everything
As my mind goes blank, I realised
The only think left, memories of you
Feeling lost,
I realised I don't know how to live with out you
Losing myself
As my heart slows down
I realised
I'm dying, not physically, but emotionally.
And its because of you
As my eyes go dull and grey
There's a little sparkle
I realised
That sparkle is you.

The story behind this is when I was going through a hard break up with the first person I thought I was in love with. He ended up cheating on me. That was three years ago.
