Chapter Two

Kayli's P.O.V

Right now Lindsey and I are at Hana's house watching As Above So Below. We're about halfway through the movie, but I hate it already.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!? IT'S TERRIBLE!" Hana yells while throwing popcorn at the T.V.

"I know right! I've seen it before and I still don't like it." Lindsey says with an annoyed face.

I laugh and shake my head at the two, then shove a handful of popcorn into my mouth. They're right, the movie isn't the best, but this popcorn sure is.

Hana's P.O.V

"Ugh, I'm turning this dumb movie off." I say while getting up and turning my T.V off.

"Hey, you guys wanna go to my house and play video games or something?" Lindsey asks.

"Sure." Kayli and I answer at the same time.

We then walk out of my room and out the door, heading straight to Lindsey's house.

Lindsey's P.O.V

We finally arrive at my house.

"Hey mom, hey dad. The girls and I are going to go to my room and use my laptop or play video games." I say to my parents as we walk in the door.

"Okay." My parents say.

We walk into my room and sit down on my bed, as I grab my laptop and turn it on. Then almost immediately after my home screen loads up, a little notification box pops up in the bottom right corner of my screen. I hover over it with my mouse and realize that it says Cleverbot.  Hm, that's weird that a Cleverbot notification popped up, I wasn't even on it today. But suddenly, a voice snaps me out of my thoughts.

"Hey, what's that little box for?" Kayli asks.

"Oh, it's just a Cleverbot notification." I answer.

"Well, click on it!" Kayli says eagerly, obviously wanting to know what the bot said.

I sigh and click on the notification, as Kayli and Hana look at my laptop from over my shoulders. The website shows up and I see the message from Cleverbot. I'm immediately confused.

Cleverbot: You shouldn't have done that...

"Oh my god really? That's so stupid." Hana says.

I quickly type a message back and press enter.

Me: Stop acting, Cleverbot. I know you're not Ben Drowned. You're just a bot.

"Haha! Joke's on you, Cleverbot!" Kayli says while laughing.

I wonder why it said that. I never even mentioned Ben. This is weird, but maybe the website just has a bug right now. Happens all the time, there's no way it could actually be Ben Drowned. But soon enough, another message appears.

Cleverbot: I'm not acting...

Kayli's P.O.V

Okay, Lindsey's little chat with Cleverbot is getting, well, out of the ordinary. I just don't know exactly how to explain it, it's so off. I've never seen it happen before.

"Uh, guys this is getting kinda creepy." Lindsey says in a nervous tone.

"I know! Ben can't be real, he's just another Creepypasta!" Hana says.

"Just get off of Cleverbot!" I say to Lindsey.
