Half of Dean's lips smiled as he closed his laptop and grabbed his papers and whatnot.
"I'm gonna go get ready for this investigation." Dean said looking at his suit hanging on the wall. "And uh, here..." He said, handing Castiel an FBI badge. "You're comin'."
Castiel nodded his head, glancing at the badge Dean had given him. "But, what about Sam?" He said, looking up at the hunter.
"I'll call him for back up in case anything happens." Dean said, pulling out his phone from his pocket. He then called his younger brother Sam.
"Hey'a Sammy!" Dean said with a big smile on his face.
"What, Dean?" Sam answered with annoyance.
"Well, looks someone's on their period..." Dean chuckled at his joke.
"Oh my god.... Would you stop?" Sam sighed over the phone.
"What's gotten up your pants? Why are you in such a bitchy mood?"
"I'm trying to figure something out and you kinda disrupted my train of thought, Dean."
"Ohhh, I'm SO sorry!" Dean said sarcastically, rolling his green eyes.
"Why did you call?" Sam got more and more frustrated with his older brother. Sam thought to himself, Why can't Dean be a little more serious and respectful towards others instead of acting like a damn 12 year old?
"I'm going on an investigation with Cas. We're going to Lawrence and hunting some freakish Angel that exploded a family and...."
Sam interrupted, "Wait, I'm investigating the same one."
"Oh." Dean went on, "Well, we got all the information we need, so you don't need to work your ass off anymore."
"Thanks for the permission." Sam said sarcastically.
"Anyways Sammy, meet me in Lawrence. I'll be there in a few hours." Dean said, glancing at his watch.
Overhearing the two brothers speaking over the phone, Castiel interjected, "But Dean, my teleportation does not take that long."
Dean put the phone down and turned to the Angel. "Dude, I am not teleporting with you again! Remember, I couldn't poop for a week?" He said, raising his eyebrows dramatically.
"Oh." Castiel said, looking almost offended. He began walking away into another room.
Where is Cas going? Did I hurt his feelings? Wait, do Angels even HAVE feelings? I think they do have feelings. But Cas is no ordinary Angel, he is Cas. No, but Cas IS an Angel. What the hell am I even thinking, Dean thought aggressively to himself, lifting an eyebrow as he watched the Angel leave his side and shutting the door behind him.
"Dean? Dean? Hello? Dean? DEAN?? I'M HANGING UP IF YOU DON'T ANSWER ME!" Sam yelled out from his phone.
Dean heard Sam yelling over from the phone, and quickly picked it up. "Oh, sorry lil' brotha."
"ANSWER MY QUESTION DEAN!"
"Uh... What's your question again?" Dean asked as he grew an innocent smile.
Sam sighed, "Can you drive me to the crime scene with you?"
"Dude..." Dean groaned. "You're killin' my mileage... And my baby."
"Wait a second! Cas is with you, right?"
"Yeah?"
"He can teleport us there!"
"Uh, no can do, Sammy. Cas and I went over this and I already told him no." Dean said sternly.
"But why?" His little brother whined. "It's much more easier and faster."
Even though Dean was alone with Castiel, he looked around the room to make sure no one was listening. He lowered his voice into the phone. "The last time Cas used his 'mojo' on me, I had really bad constipation." Dean thought to himself, shaking his head, Why do I always have to explain this specific incident to everyone?!
Sam chuckled a bit when he heard Dean's embarrassing confession. "C'mon Dean, don't be such a baby." Sam said, rolling his eyes.
"But Sammy...." Dean whined.
"Look Dean, If you're taking your car, then I'm taking Cas. You can change your mind, but I honestly don't care. Just send Cas over in a few minutes."
"Fine, you win. I'm comin' in a few, ya son of a bitch." His older brother said, almost growling.
Dean heard Sam chuckled from across the phone. "Alright, bye."
Dean hung up his phone and slowly walked towards the room where the Angel had wondered off in. Just in case of an emergency, Dean shifted one of his hands inside his pocket where his gun had been placed. His other hand twisting the metal door knob. With a concentrated look on his face, Dean quickly opened the door to find...
