I finally came around when my heavy lids fluttered open, I never did get headaches when I was hungover but still I ached everywhere. It was still dark out as I sat up, every muscle in my body causing me pain as my eyes drifted to the heavy curtains. Hanging my feet off of the edge of the bed I stood up, finding myself only in my underwear as I looked down at the black lace set.

At this point I didn't care about clothes or decency, this was my house and my family so walking over to my wardrobe I opened the oak doors, my eyes scanning all the diffent materials until my eyes caught the black light dressing gown. It ended just above my knee cap, a black thin cotton that was so comfy and warm.

I placed the black cotton dressing gown on, leaving it open as my feet made their way to the window, my hands clutching the long blue drapes as I opened it up, expecting daylight to spread throughout my bedroom ....but it never came. The streetlights were the only light in the darkness of the early morning. I furrowed my brows as I traced over to my bed, pulling my phone from under my pillow as the screen lit up, 5:15am.

Usually in the summer the light would come streaming in at this hour but we're closer to winter at this point. Autumn always had been my favourite season even if it was the season of death, all the plants withering away with all the mornings as dark as ever. But for some reason I loved it, the chill, the feeling, the layers of clothes and the smell of spices going through my parents home as my mother took to baking in the festive seasons.

Opening up my bedside drawer I pulled out the vitamins I kept for these special ocassions, I'd always suffered with health problems and found I could get quite exhausted very easily so I kept them for when I needed a boost but I also found they had other healing benifits when it came to not getting enough sleep and hangovers but only the girls knew the main reason for the vitamins.

With my health history, my mother would probably panic but I'd been to the doctor and he told me it was because my body had to work harder than everyone esles so yes I did need the vitamins.

I always kept a bottle of water by the side of my bed. Remembering how I opened one before we left for the wedding yesterday I walked over to my mirror where my makeup and straightners spread across the floor along with the bottle, my eyes catching the plastic as I nealt down to grab it, crushing the vitamin so it would fit inside the bottle as it fizzed and turned a shade of pink, the flavour of rasberry hitting my tastebuds as I downed the content.

Knowing the usual routine I laid down for about ten minutes before sitting up, my muscles hurting less and less as time went by. Getting to my feet I walked over to my bedroom door, walking across the hall to where the bathroom was.

Walking in I turned on the light, my eyes adjusting to the brightness as I brushed out my golden locks, trying to look slightly more normal, before brushing my teeth and washing off last night's make up that had managed to turn me into a racoon during the night.

Feeling slightly more like myself I realised with everything going on there was no way I could go back to sleep so I decided to stay awake, to try and act as normal as I could before Aiden got here, it had bugged me all night that he'd never given me a time and I bet he knew it too, he'd always loved pissing me off and apparently now more than ever.

I turned off the bathroom light as I made my exit down the hallway and into the living room, we never usually used the living room lights since we found the floor lamps have a warmth to the room that the ceiling lights couldn't offer. So walking through the dark I'd managed to make my way through without hitting my legs on any sharp conrners, switching on the button for the room to light up.

Usually when I was the first up I'd watch some day time tv, even if it was for backround noise when I was just doing something else in the room so grabbing the remote I turned on the tv for the morning news. My head was still a little fuzzy as I made my way to the kitchen but before I reached for the door handle I noticed it was all ready a bar open, tho light streaming through the gap.
