I hate meetings. They are so boring and annoying. So I’ll tell you what had happened at the meeting to boost the story a bit. Don’t get this in the wrong way but to tell the truth that meeting was boring up to some extent. There were a few doctors in the room with the guy I met a while ago. During the conversation I managed to find his name. It was David. I’ll tell briefly what we have discussed. They had mentioned a lot from the scratch because I was there.

First of all it was about the Cyclops killer who he is, what he is capable of & bla bla. His name is James Ridger. A Special ops soldier. (That explains how he escaped without a trace)” The reason he became a serial killer was an incident he had faced while on duty. They did not explain that in detail but I think I could guess what kind of an incident managed to turn him upside down. He was not called as The Cyclops killer when he was caught for the first time. The name that was used was “The Scythe”. The reason to call him so was that he used a scythe to kill his victims, yes like the reaper. Then he was caught by the people in here. He lived in this place for some time behaving in a good manner. Suddenly he escaped and started the killing spree calling himself The Cyclops killer. Nobody knew why.

That was the very brief description of the Cyclops killer. Then he talked about the place where I was. I started to feel that by the end of this meeting a lot of my questions I have in mind will be answered. This is an institution especially made for the people who are criminally insane. Felt like that it is held as a secret due to the dangerous people who lived here. As they stated there objective was to heal the madness inside of these freaks and release them to the society once again with new identities. So far they have released thirty seven people to the society in there three years of history. They have started acting recently. Most of the patients who were held here are recorded as ‘deceased’. Felt like that these people had access to all kinds of details of anyone who lived. Does the government ha to do anything this?

Finally they talked about the main topic. Catch The Cyclops killer. I believe you people remember that I had a backpack with me. David the Doctor had checked it. He saw the stuff I brought from Jonathan’s room. The big poster I tore off from the wall had been placed on a board in the briefing room. There were five of us in the room. David, Selena, I and two more people I didn’t knew. They were wearing white coats like David. I figured that they maybe assistants.

“So Eric” David talked to one of the assistants who had cropped his hair short. The spectacles he wore made him look like a nerd. “Tell us what you have found” he woke up and walked to the board.

“I have analyzed the poster and checked the patterns.” He did sound like a nerd. “The victims who were killed by the real killer were marked in blue. Others were marked in red. A few names were there written in green but there aren’t any records about them so far. Furthermore they were written in stick notes. I managed to find four. My assumption is that the stuff which are written in green are aout the people who were going to be Jonathan’s next set of victims.” If he is telling the truth, where am I?

I raised the question immediately. They all looked at me. Selene was silent. I wondered why David brought her to the briefing room.

“I was getting to that. It was not there. That piece of information made us to find out where he will be right now.” I didn’t like what he is going to say. He is coming after me.

“We believe that The Cyclops will come after Robert.” Damn it.

“So all we have to do it put our Robert as bait.” David said at once.

“Whoa, Wait” They looked at me, expecting what I am going to say. My jaw dropped when Eric said it. “Just like that? You are putting me to bait just like that?” I questioned.

“Yes” David said stiffly. “In return we promise you freedom.” What freedom? I saw how brutally Jonathan was butchered. He will tear me into shreds before they catch me. He will set me free for good.

“If I refuse?” that question felt like two edged sword.

“According to the stuff you did. We can keep you here for the rest of your life. Just help us to catch this freak Robert. We will definitely let you go once it is done. That’s a promise.” Blackmailing, that’s the word.

The answer was yes. There was no point of saying no to this one.

“Ok, Eric tell others, where we saw James for the last time”

“He was last seen at the Tropical apartments. Disguised as a janitor, He was roaming around the fifth floor. He had a good knowledge about the building. Our two agents who were there said that he vanished just like he came. No one knows how he came or left. The only evidence we got is from the surveillance cameras we saw him entering a room. Few minutes later he left.” My heart started to pound like a drum. He continued without noticing my reaction.

“No killing or any trace of crime has been reported there. The person who lived there was a female. Her name is Nina Robbins. Divorced, a teacher at rainbows elementary, we inquired her whether anything suspicious. But she did not say anything. She was asleep when James entered the room. He didn’t come for her. He came for something else, probably some information, or someone else.” Eric turned to me. “Well Robert I believe now you know why we are using as the bait.” I Jumped out of my skin when he mentioned the last two sentences. He said some more stuff, but the only thing I saw was his lips moving.

Guys, Nina Robbins is my girlfriend.
