After the match we went up to Ms. Radice's room to sign up for the tournament. After she had registered us she told us that we would be Team Demon and that we would get the information on who we were fighting tomorrow.

"Ms. Radice, I don't know if you mind me asking, but could you tell me what team the new kids are, and who is on the team?" I decided to ask because I know that it would be fun if we would be able to fight each other.

"No I don't mind. Those new kids are Team Vampire. The three that are on their team is Esther Jade, Lyra Sapphire, and Gustavo Citrine." Thanking her I left the office and met up with Jaiden and Tyler in the hallway.

"Does that happen every day?" Asked Jaiden. He was probably referring to the fight that Esther won.

"Yeah, but not usually with me. For two years now everyone has been too scared of me, so not really. Jaklyn is the only one stupid enough to think she'd be able to beat me, and usually it would've been me fighting, not Esther, but there wouldn't have been a crowd because they know who would win." He nodded and we walked back to our dorm in silence.

After putting on some pajamas I decided that before going to bed I should start reading some of the book. Walking over to my desk I look and see that the book isn't there. I look in the drawers and under the desk and still no sign of it. I go into Jaiden and Tyler's room and ask if they've seen the book I had earlier, and they said that they hadn't.

Deciding that I must've misplaced it I decide to just get in bed. I lay there thinking about how much training we were going to have to do in the next week to be ready for the tournament. Judging by how Esther had beaten Jaklyn so easily I knew that we would have to work out butts off. I finally fell asleep after wondering who we were going to fight.

I woke up at eight o' clock in the morning. Getting out of bed I walk over to my desk and see that there's a paper at the top. It tells us the match – ups for next week's tournament. The team we're going up against first is Team Griffin. Waking up the boys we head out to the training grounds once again, once we're ready.

"Ok, we're fighting Chad Razner, Lilac Yori, and Bret Hetser. Chad is a Fast – Dark Type like me, Lilac is a Transformation – Light Type, and Bret is a Strength – Light Type. Here's what we're going to do. I'm going to go after Chad, because I'm pretty sure I'm faster than he is. Tyler I want you to go after Bret. All you have to do is tire him out enough to where he's pretty useless because strength types don't have a lot of stamina, so just hold off and hit him with strong elemental attacks, and Jaiden you're going to go after Lilac. Use your voice like you did yesterday and manipulate where you want her to go, remember you can't be scared, she will definitely turn into different animals, so you can't be afraid. Tyler practice elemental spells. Jaiden I'm going to spar with you again, these three are cocky, so I doubt that they're going to bother to care who they're fighting, use your voice as much as you can, and remember you have you're Chyla, so it's going to make your voice even more powerful."

Once again taking our stances with my sword and Jaiden's Kama. We both charged at each other. Trying my best to block out his voice was definitely hard with that sound amplifier. Having my sword in my left hand I swung and hit the blade of his blue Kama. When we we're in close was when he would try to shout commands in my ears. Some commands worked and some didn't.

"Swing left." And I swung right. "Jump up." And I jumped up and that was when I was forced to use my speed to avoid him kicking me in the stomach. After two hours of training I decide to call it quits for the morning and check on Tyler. It seemed he was good with controlling electricity and water. Deciding that we could continue training in the afternoon we went to go get breakfast.
