The Conversation

Steven P.O.V.

So, as I thought, he is a skeleton. We walk back to the temple together, and everyone is giving me weird looks. I bet the Gems would be too, if they weren't on a mission. I decided to stay home for this one.

The Gems would definately freak out. I don't even know what they're going to think of him.

We arrive at the temple and we sit on the couch.

"So," I say after a few minutes, "Where are you from?"

"I'm was from the Underground. You ever heard of Mt. Ebott?" He replied.

"N-no."

"Well, that's where I'm from. I was on my way to Grillby's, a restaurant in my town, and I came here instead. I don't know how though."

"I'm not sure, it must be some magic stuff. I-"

"STEVEN!!! WHO OR WHAT IS THIS, AND WHY IS IT HERE?!" Pearl screams.

"I- He was lost and so I brought him in to talk. He looked like he needed a friend."

"He needs to go. I don't trust him, and neither should you, Steven." Garnet states.

"He is fine. He's lost, and just needs to get back to his home in Mt. Ebott." I said back.

"I'll be fine. I t... I came here, so I can go back too, right?" Sans said.

He snapped his fingers, then he was gone. He was back within seconds, though. "What was that?"

"My teleportation. I can teleport, but I don't know why it's not working. I'll have to figure it out later, but while I was gone for those few seconds, I saw something outside. You might want to check it out."

The Gems and I ran outside. And there was a corrupted gem, right outside the temple.
