 Chapter One

Lenny Quagmire

Lenny Quagmire was just an ordinary boy with ordinary beliefs, living in an ordinary house, with ordinary people, all-in-all quite ordinary, wouldn’t you say? Although with every story there’s always someone who disapproves another, or is just vengeful. In this story it sets with a sunset, and warm sunny day. This is my story, and it starts off in California.

It was a warm, sunny morning in southern California. A rooster crowed in the distance, the cows mooed drowsily from their slumber, and an old buzz light-year alarm clock buzzed the American National Anthem on a wooden drawer. It was my first day of school in the 7th grade. I slowly rolled out of bed after hastily shutting off the alarm with bed head. I headed to the bathroom to get ready for the day, when I faced the mirror I saw a young boy only about 3 7/10 feet tall with wavy, short hair, freckles, button nose and average sized arms and legs. After brushing my white teeth and brushing my shaggy hair, I headed down for breakfast where my mom stood flipping her famous pancakes that are made with some warm bacon grease to give more taste to it.

“Good morning sweetheart,” my mom called, “I made you some eggs to go with your pancakes for your big day!”

“Thanks mom,” I replied, taking a bite out of a warm piece of toast, “This should put cooking shows it’s so good, have you ever considered that?”

Yes, but too many people would flock our doorstep to interview me and you, it would be catastrophic.” My mom exclaimed.

My mom cares for all that will care back; she has an Italian accent, and curly long, brown hair, and is always wearing the sapphire necklace my dad gave to her before he passed away. I never got the chance to even meet him; he died 3 years before my birth. It was a very painful subject to us, so whenever a mailman we didn’t know came up our doorstep saying something like;

“This package is for Steven Quagmire, is he home?”

All it ever did was nothing except for giving us regret-like feeling and bring tears to our eyes; it would take a while before one of us actually had the courage to tell him off. In fact the only things I have left of him are my picture encased in metal with him and my mom, and my name.  And my last name Quagmire came from my dad in favor of him. And one day I hope to meet him, face-to-face.

Chapter 2

My Odd Bus Ride in Rush Springs Academy

As I entered the school bus I realized there were more people in this school than I expected. The whole back of the bus was taken by kids who looked like belonged in a military academy more than a middle school. So I ignored them and sat next to a person who didn’t look like someone who escaped from solitary confinement.

“Hello my names Lenny. Lenny Quagmire.” I said, after two minutes of silence

The girl I spoke to barely gave me any attention or sign that she cared other than a nod of the head.

“Oh,” she said surprised, “Sorry didn’t see you there.”

I looked down at my Nikes too embarrassed to say anything.

“Hey you’re that new kid in our class, Larry, Louie…” she asked,

“Lenny,” I corrected,

“Oh yeah. My names, Karen.” I said.

From behind me someone poked me on my shoulder.

“Hi, my names Neo Wood, I recently had to move to this blasted school because of the incident at my last.” Neo said,
