"Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" I groaned hearing Martin's loud screams through the phone after I answered his FaceTime call.
"Why?" I mumbled back into my pillow still holding my hand up with my phone.
"I want you to come to the studio today. I have project idea's I'm going to work out, and start today, and I want you there. It's only like 3 hours," Martin winked as I stretched my arms, and yawned.
"Why so early?" I mumbled again laying back hitting my head on my pillows seeing it was 8 in the morning.
"Because I also have a special surprise for you after the studio. Plus, you help me think," he smiled making a goofy smile to go on my face.
"You are such a sweet talker. Send me the address of the studio. What time should I be there?" I grinned getting out of bed hearing Martin's cheers through the phone.
"An hour?" He asked and I nodded.
"I just have to take a shower, and I'll head over," I smiled hearing Martin groan loudly. I gave him a questioning look.
"Wish I could be there," he winked as I giggled at his bold comment.
"You know, I wish you were, too," I flirted playing along hearing him groan again. I wouldn't have let him in, but that doesn't mean I can't tease him. "See you in a few."
I walked over to my bathroom quickly taking a shower, shaving, and blow-drying my hair to its natural bouncy curls. I did light makeup once again as I started loving my freckles. Grabbing my phone that was blasting Disclosure, I checked the weather to see it was 98 degrees, and humid. Perfect, thanks Chicago. I looked around for the perfect outfit pulling out a white halter top, and dark green pleated shorts slipping it on smiling at myself in the mirror. I rushed grabbing my wallet, keys, and phone and headed out the door bumping into Alex.
"Watch it," Alex joked shoving me into the wall as I kicked the back of his knee as he bent down, and fell. I laughed running down the stairs hearing him curse after me. My parents were probably at work since I only saw my car, and Alex's. I jumped in jamming out to Disclosure's music for the 30-minute drive. I finally reached a tall building in Downtown Chicago. I stared up smiling, then decided to walk in seeing the receptionist at the desk with multiple people sitting in chairs, and security by the doors.
"Ella!" I heard a shout from the couches. Martin waved me over as I made eye contact with Dave laying in a chair upside down, and Liv laying against the armrest.
"Hey you guys," I smiled waving at Dave and Liv about to go throw my arms over them when Martin pulled me in for a long hug instantly hitting me with his sent of crisp cologne and cinnamon.
"Alright, we get it you guys are beautiful together, now let's go upstairs and start," Liv smiled flicking my curls on the way to the elevator. I gave Martin an encouraging look telling him she had a point. I've always wanted to see something being produced in person and knew that this would be one of my only chances.
"I'm excited to see your reaction," he smiled as I nodded in agreement. Dave was holding the elevator for us, but security yelled at him to close it before he messed up the sensor. I giggled walking over pressing the elevator button as Martin reached for my hand. The opposite lift opened as we walked in seeing it was covered in mirrors and just us inside.
"Any vibe, or special sound you're going for?" I questioned when the doors closed.
"I'll tell you in a bit," Martin smiled placing his hands on my hips and pulling me into him. I shook my head and placed my hands on his chest, leading him to the back of the elevator as I heard his back hit the wall. I smirked biting my lips seeing Martin's surprised face.
