FOR MY MAIN HOE ERICA
___________He had been lying down on the couch, looking up at the ceiling. He was waiting for you to come home from your friends house. You had been staying there over the long weekend, and he jumped at every car door, hoping it was you.
He was waiting to see your shadow in the window across from his, doing something simple. Like brushing your hair, or humming your favorite song.
He had been in love with you from the day you moved in. You had become quite close, and he talked to you almost every night byThe window.
He heard a car door slam, once again getting up to see who it was. His eyes widened, seeing your figure waving goodbye to your friend. He let out a deep sigh, smiling to himself.
Today, he was going to ask you to come down from the window and meet him in the hidden grass in between your houses.
He waited for you to come up to your room anxiously. You walked through your door into the small room, and he saw you immediately, waving at you. You smiled widely, rushing to put your things away so you could talk to him. When you had finished, you hopped over to your window.
Jinyoung spoke, "Hey, uh, Erica. Could you come down to the grass in like 5 minutes?"
You raised an eyebrow, but nodded. You turned away from the window, checking yourself in the mirror. You smiled to yourself, you had missed Jinyoung alot over the long weekend.
You missed his soft voice and light giggles when you made dumb jokes. You missed the way he would nervously comb his hair when he talked to you. But most of all, you missed the way your heart skipped what felt like a hundred beats when you saw him.
You quickly ran down the stairs, as he did the same in the house beside you. You slowly pushed through the small brush to the enclosed grassy area. You saw Jinyoung, he was smiling at the ground, fiddling with his fingers. His frame was illuminated by the early evening sunlight. His features standing out more than normal. You blushed, walking over to him.
Jinyoung was quite nervous. He had liked you for what felt like forever. He wanted to make it right. He watched your figure walk towards him, your face brightened by the sunlight.
"Ok so Erica, remember when you moved in? Well I think that I would categorize that day as the best day of my life. I met you and I got to know you. I couldn't ask for a more amazing perso-" You stepped closer to Jinyoung, but still relatively far.
He scratched the back of his neck, continuing. "Anyway, uh, you're justan amazing person. One of the first things that I thought when I saw you was just, like, wow. Ever since that day, I've been in love with yo-"
You stepped even closer, this time feeling his heavy breath on your lips. Your noses were almost touching, and you were looking directly into his eyes. He did something he knew he would never regret, he leaned in. His soft lips brushed your own, your breathing quickening, if that was even possible. You pressed your lips softly to his. You both relaxed, and Jinyoung smiled into the kiss.
He pulled away, "Am I allowed to finish my sentence now?"
You laughed, " I don't think you need to."
He smiled brightly, and kissed you again. He wrapped his arms around you, and you did the same. This was your favorite day since the day you met him.
