Camilla will never be free. On the day she was prosecuted, she was immediately sentenced to life in prison. The organization preferred not to execute her, instead, they wanted to see her die a timeless and lonely death. She was always alone, ever since the day her family was murdered. When I first saw her, her eyes were filled with vengeance to the point that it nearly swallowed my pride of being a male soldier. It was difficult to watch over her as she constantly disappeared from my sight whenever my eyes were snatched on something else. The girl held herself higher than everyone else which lead to no one trusting her. Everyone looked down on her, being the traitor she was to the WYSTE, the organization that continues to destroy our territory and others. Judging from the expression that she wore often, she didn't give a damn of what people thought of her. As time grew, so did she. Eventually her heart began to warm up and slowly open up to others. All I wanted to do was help her, but confessing only worsened the situation. Afterall, she and Xander had eyes only for each other, although, Xander could never stay by her side when she needed him most. I was always there and I promised, if she were to ever betray Gatepath, I would have to kill her myself. She agreed with a smile that reassured me that it was far off of her mind. It was all lies.

While I was away for training, she slaughtered countless members that she and I both knew. I wasn't there to stop her and by the time I got there, she was lying in a pool of blood that she spilled from the dead. Xander was standing there quietly as he observed her, starving to be killed. By his expression, he was abundantly disturbed by the fact he would do such a thing to her, the one he had eyes for. I couldn't spill how I felt about the whole situation, but saying nothing was the correct idea, otherwise I would've been dead in his eyes. Still, I can remember him trying to mutter muted words to her and how he struggled to fight against his post. I felt the same as he did. All I could do was congratulate him for taking her down and tell him to back down. He refused and offered to take her to the infirmary where she could be saved. More than anything, he yearned for her safety.

During the time when she was in the infirmary, she tried to commit suicide multiple times. I was never there, in fact, I couldn't be there for her. He was always in my way, asking me if he could have some private time with her or she needed only one person at a time so she wouldn't get spooked. I knew they were all lies, but, I couldn't say no. Every single day, I dreamed to see her. I wished to go back where everything was a lie, where she faked being happy and when she falsely return the love I desired. It's something that I would die for, but it has already been passed on. Soon, Camilla was well again and put on lockdown in her room. No one could see her besides the doctor and, of course, Xander. He was the one who stopped her; he should be the one to stop her from doing anything dangerous. Of course, I stayed outside of her room, waiting for her to be released. As soon as she was released, she was prosecuted and sentenced to life in prison. That was the last time I saw her. I've never seen her look so spiteful. It was devastating to watch her life be thrown behind a white cage. At the last moment, her eyes were filled with resentment.

After her announcement of being thrown away to rot, another announcement was made. Xander, the sealer of the Wilting Camellia, was pronounced as her prison guard. Everyone was outraged of how she should've been executed or she should've paid the price of what she had done to our fallen. I couldn't choose a side, but I knew Xander wanted her to live on, even if it was to put her behind bars.

A few months later, I heard a rumor about prison abuse and how they were treating them. Most laughed, joked, denied, or said that's what they deserved. By that time, Camilla was fading away from my mind like dust that was brushed by a feathered stick. I had nothing to say about it and couldn't say anything about it. At the time, I sighed as I stared at the hall that was filled with mostly of authorities.

"Tob!" Someone yelled from behind. I recognized the voice and spun slowly to view that it was a familiar messy man, Xander. "How ya doin' bro? It's been awhile, don' wanna call?" He laughed like those days never occurred to him.
