I woke up with a pounding headache. My sight was kinda blurry as I was opening my eyes. My ears were ringing too. I held my head and felt warm liquid coming from a cut. As my vision got clearer, I noticed I was in a some woods. I got to my feet as quick as possible and started running. I could hear screams and I ran towards them.
Stumbling a little bit over tree stumps and vines, I cleared my way through the trees. Coming to a stop I could believe my eyes. This couldn't be happening. Out of all things why this? Why me?
In front of me was a beach with half of the plane I was on and smoking debris. I ran towards the water trying to save as much people as I can.
"Don't just stand there! Help! You screaming ain't doing shit!" I said to this black haired girl who was literally standing there screaming.
As I looked behind her, I saw a man with a piece of metal stuck in his shoulder.
"Be useful and try to bring some people out the water & help them with CPR!" I said to her as I ran to the man.
"Salt water and Prada don't mix" I heard her say as I was running towards the man.
"Hello sir, can you hear me?" I said slapping his face. He opened his eyes groaning. "Hey you're okay, but you have to move from here it's not safe can you get up?" He nodded his head and I helped him up.
I looked around and saw that other people had come to their senses and was helping out. I rested him down by the woods and went back to help the others.
"Please help my sister, please I can't lose her!" This 11 or 12 year old boy said. I pushed him back and started pushing on her chest. 1,2,3,4,5.... I counted off and breathed in her mouth until she started coughing up water.
"Hey sweety, you're okay but y'all need to go over there" I pointed to the man with the messed up shoulder. "It's not safe here."
I got up and ran to the other person and did the same thing over and over until it was too late for some.
By then some of the people had started a fire and others were looking in the half plane for stuff we could use. Thank god one of the guys I preformed CPR on was a doctor and he was helping the injured.
My mind and adrenaline were on one thousand. It felt like a dream but I never had a dream as sick as this. I sat in the sand looking at the ocean and beach just in total shock.
"Hey, here's a bottle of water." A buff light skinned with a nice beard said handing me one. "Thanks". I said taking it and drinking it.
"What you did out there was amazing you saved a lot of people's lives..." He said sipping from his bottle.
"It might've been a waste of time." I mumbled. Like we might not even get rescued, I know he heard what the pilot said before we crashed. "Huh?" He scrunched up his face.
