                                Daniel POV

"DANIEL! DANIEL!" I heard someone calling my name. I woke up and walked out the tent covering my eyes from the sun to see Fredrick running towards me.

"What's wrong?" I asked him.

"Man, ion kno how to swim but Someone in the water!" He said pointing to the ocean. As I squinted my eyes I saw their hands and feet. "The current must have took em out--" I didn't even let him finish I just took off to the shore.

I started swimming but when I got out there the waves were really high and I couldn't see where they was no more. I swam underwater to get a better view and I did. I got him and started swimming back to shore.

"Did you get her?" He asked spitting water out his mouth.

"What?"

"There was a girl she was out there. I tried to save her." And right when he said that I looked around and saw some hands flying around. Fuck. "Just leave me."

"No, I got this." I swam half way and passed him to Nicole and turned around to try save the girl.

"Daniel, what are you doing?" She asked

"Someone else out there."

"Not any more, they didn't make it."

We swam back to the shore while everyone helped out. I went to keep myself busy and take my mind off of what just happened. Moments later Nicole came to me.

"How you holding up?" She asked.

"Who was it?"

"Look it's not your fault--"

"Who was it?"

"Her name was Joanna."

"We've been here 6 days and I never spoke to her."

"I haven't either so don't beat yourself up over it." She said. "But you tried, you both did. It was just too late."

"I didn't try." I said looking past her in the water. I saw my dad standing there with a suit. Just as I did yesterday. I started to walk towards him but he disappeared.

"Daniel?"

"Did you just see that? A man standing in the water? You didn't see that?" I said pointing.

"Daniel, when was the last time you slept?"

I shook my head and walked away from her back to the tent.

                            Shawn POV

"Who taught you that?" I asked him.

"Kim. The Vietnamese lady." He said putting salt water in his mouth and spitting it out. "It taste nasty though."
