It's been a long day
And about to be an even longer night
With thoughts of you
Foremost in my mind
To stare into your eyes
Would mean I get to reveal
All the hidden emotions running through my mind
Happiness, Ecstasy, longing and infatuation
All which have a constant: you
Your body radiates a warmth
That captures my attention
And brings forth a need
That needs quenching
You have got me hooked
To the promise of you friendship and your company
All which am contented with at the moment
But hopefully the present will not be a reflection of the future
