The words seemed to be pried out of Winters mouth. She stared wide eyed. " W-w" She stuttered but barely any noise came out. Before she could spit out the rest of the words she was cut off. A cold feeling rushed up her spine, as her hand was jerked back. She resisted, pulling it forward. Instead of being let go she was pulled harder. She twisted her body as she led her other hand to punch the culprit, but before the impact could be made, it was caught and pushed behind her back, held upwards. The pain ranged through her arm and all thought process was lost in the chaos. She thrashed, kicked and screamed against them getting the same, maybe even the worst from the ones who constrained her. It came to the point where she gave up. She was left on her knees, and the guards were the only thing that was holding her up.
Emily laughed as she watched the scene. " Ha, you really thought you stood a chance? You're just a pathetic teenager against me. " She said as she walked over to her. She ran her hand under the girl's chin as she lifted it.
" What did I ever do to you?" Winter spat her eyes staring at Emily. She didn't get it. How could someone do something like this? Then she remembered she was talking to the same person that sent their kids up in a plane that was destined to crash.
"Nothing, you were actually quite helpful but, you see I don't need you for this anymore. It's too complex and you're just too young, but you know to much and I still need you for other things. " Emily stated as she shrugged. "So I guess I am saying is that you are mine now."
Winter could barely speak. " How do you expect to get away with this? You can't they won't let you! There will be people looking for me!" She spat.
Emily did nothing but laugh. " Really? People are going to be looking for you? All you are is a hopeless orphan trying to support your boyfriend who is using you! I see nothing to miss."
The words were like poison to her ears. "Those are lies the police will be searching for me!" She stated.
Emily shook her head. " Then let me worry about that. Take her away. " She stated as she walked away and let her head fall. The guards carried her out of the room and took her to another room. They pushed her in, winter fell to the ground. Her hands, arms and feet hurt, and she didn't want to move. She knew there was no escape. Plus the words that Emily had said echoed in her brain. 'No one would look for her.' That couldn't be true... could it?
The floor was cold against her skin, but at the same time it felt nice against her skin. She tried to think of something, anything but nothing came to mind. She huffed realizing something. She groaned slightly as she rolled herself over on her side. Pain seared through her side as she reached down into her pocket.
'Please be there. Please still be there.' She pleaded in her mind. She was expecting the cold metal surface of her phone to appear in her hand, but instead there was nothing but lint inside. Rolling back on her back as she groaned. " Fuck." She mumbled to herself. She should've known that Emily was smarter than to let her keep that in her possession. Her mind raced more than she could handle.
"What about Ella and Aiden?"
"What about her boyfriend?"
"What was she going to do?"
She stood up, slowly using the wall behind her as her 'backbone'. No one was there it, the room was empty once again. It was just like those hospital rooms she remembered so well. White walls and no way out. She had been avoiding going back there for so long, and hear she was now in a similar position, except possibly worst. Her anger swelled up, and in a quick turn she punched the wall. Her hand bounced back, doing no damage to the wall, but instead turning her hand a bright red. It wasn't fair, none of this was. She sank down onto the ground letting a few tears fall from her face.
