A/N This is the sequel to "Rise To Return" in this series. It is also the final story of it - for now.
- This story is one of bravery, fright and will to do the right thing and save the day.
What you'll come to learn with this story is that there's something more important than bravery and that's teamwork.
Enjoy!
Five fairy months after the destruction of our beloved Pixie Hollow. Five long months of recreating every inch of it in this newfound land.
Until now, we have all the main places we once loved to go to back. The queen has her palace back and we all have our fairy homes back as well – bigger and stronger than the old ones we lost. And this is where it all began...
The Arrival Day part of the new Ancient Tree was recreated as well. Now I finally had the chance to choose my talent. So far, I had the wings, and the clothes but not the talent. It was postponed when the old Hollow got destroyed.
A lot of new ways to do things we've already done before have been discovered as well.
Take the gathering of sun rays for instance. We use reflection beams to gather them plus a new addition that Tinkerbell discovered.
As every fairy and sparrowman already knows, by using the reflection beams we gather the usual yellow sunrays but when we put a colored glass shaped like a pebble in front of it, the rays reflect in the color the glass has. We've been using it to practice with the fireflies for the big celebration, of the rise of the Hollow once again.
The day when I could choose a talent had finally come too. I was standing in front of dozens of fairies and sparrowmen all curious about what the newcomer would choose to be.
The queen approached me and took my hand, guiding me towards the round floor with the floating elements that give you a talent.
"Prepare yourself, Nia the biggest decision of all is next."
She said with a smile.
All the mentor fairies and sparrows were looking and waiting to see what I'll reach for. I was hesitating to go for the egg, since I'm pretty keen on animals but something told me from the inside that that's not where I belonged. I turned to face the bow and arrow instead. I took them and my wings' tint changed to brown.
A fairy with long dark blue hair approached me. She seemed super strict but as soon as she stood in front of me she smiled and shook my hand.
"Welcome to the Scouts Nia. I'm Nyx, your mentor fairy."
She said in one breath as she still kept shaking my hand. I stood there holding a bow and an arrow and I still couldn't believe it. I thought I'd end up being a Tinker not a fighter.
Later, Nyx took me to the Scouts Camp where only four other fairies were. Two sparrowmen flew in immediately to say hello.
"Told you Thunder!"
One of them said laughing.
"Yeah, okay Dylan you did."
The sparrowman whose name was apparently Thunder said with a grin on his face. I just extended my hand to greet them shyly.
"Hi, I'm Nia."
I said, as one of them flew right towards me and hugged me.
"I'm Dylan O'Breeze. That's Thunder Wing."
