Lexie's P.O.V :
I open my eyes when I hear a knock on me and Nikki's room door.
I rub my eyes as I get up and look over at my best friend Nikki.
I shake Nikki awake before going and answering the door.
When I opened the door I saw my favourite care worker.
Her name is Cheyenne, she is almost twenty years old and looks absolutely beautiful as always.
Cheyenne is really nice unlike all the other care workers.
Cheyenne has dark brown hair and light brown eyes.
" good morning loves!" She said to us before turning to face me.
Cheyenne sits down on the edge of my bed as I turn to look at her.
Cheyenne smiles at me " there is a family coming to adopt you today lex "
I felt Nikki pull me into a hug " no she can't leave me " Nikki screamed as tears rolled down her cheeks.
I slowly wipe away her tears " Nikki don't worry we will keep in contact I promise. Your like a big sister to me always remember that and never forget me "
I hugged her tight then let go.
I turned to look at Cheyenne " when will they be here ? " I asked.
" they will be here in about an hour and a half so get packing Lexie " Cheyenne said before leaving the room.
An hour and a half later :
I ha just finished eating when the doorbell went.
Cheyenne looked at me and said " go get your stuff Lexie that will be your new family here to collect you "
I nodded before running upstairs to grab my bags before walking back downstairs with Nikki.
We got downstairs and out jaws dropped when we saw the Cimorelli family standing there.
" Cimorelli is adopting me " I whisper before Nikki starts to scream " oh my god, it's Cimorelli "
Cheyenne looks at Mr.Cimorelli a.k.a Mike Sr who takes my bags out to the mini van for me.
Lynne smiles and hugs me " welcome to the family Lexie "
Lynne then heads outside while the girls wait for me to say my goodbyes.
I ran over to Nikki and hugged her tight " I love you Nikki, stay strong while I'm gone, I'll miss you and always remember that deep down we will always be sisters wether we are blood related or not "
I then let go of Nikki and say goodbye to Cheyenne and a few of the other kids before walking out with Dani, Lauren, Lisa, Amy, Christiana and Katherine.
I got into the white mini van and sat beside dani and Lauren.
I look out of the window as they drove away from the orphanage.
I think about my past as I remain quiet on my journey to my new home.
