1 Year And 6 Months Ago

You walk down a long hallway with doors on both sides of the hall. You are looking for a door with the number 326 on it.

"324, 325, 326!" you say.

You twist the door knob and go and inside the room. Sunlight enters through the window blinds, creating bars of light on the floor. There is a bunk bed with a nightstand by if to the left of the window. There is a desk to the right of the window and another desk against the right wall. To the left of you there is a vloset and to the right of you there is a dresser.

"What do you think about my palace?" asks Sibley, who had just walked up behind you.

"It's small and barren." you say.

"I can agree with you on the small part, but it's only barren becausr I haven't been here for five minutes." he says.

Sibley pulls his suitcase over to the bed and sits it on the bottom bunk.

"Help me unpack." he says.

You walk over to the suitcase and begin taking stuff out.

"It sucks that I have to have a roommate." says Sibley as he puts clothes in his dresser, "Hopefully I get a hot girl."

"So shallow." you say.

"So are you saying nothing happened between you and Sasha when you guys were roommates?" asks Sibley.

"Nothing. We're just friends." you say.

"You can still be friends and have things going on." says Sibley with a wink.

"There is nothing going on. I wish you were a little kid again. You were much quieter back then." you say.

"I was a loser back then." says Sibley.

"Why did you decide to go to Middlebrook? It's so far away from home." you say.

Sibley stops unpacking and leans against the dresser.

"I just needed to get away from Monticello County and San Francisco for a while." says Sibley, "So much happened with Mom, Dad, and Taylor. I need to get away from that."

"Yeah. I understand." you say with guilt in your voice.

"I know I can't change your mind, but I don't think it was your fault." says Sibley.

"It was all my fault." you say, "Well, except for Dad's death. We all know Carlo's people did that even though the police couldn't find anything. Sasha and I are working on that now and after we solve that case we are going to investigate this gang called, The Brotherhood."

"Gangs, huh? You two be careful with that." says Sibley.

"I'll try." you say.

"I wouldn't want that beautiful creature named Sasha to get hurt." says Sibley.

"Can you not?" you say.

Sibley laughs and you two continue to unpack.
