something I longed
to be since I was young
But I helped you too
i tried to save you because
I saw myself in you
maybe that was my mistake
because I spilled my heart
to you as you did to me
But you made new friends
like I told you
I was always a bit jealous
and a bit protective
but I knew you had
forgotten me
when you started to use me
That's what happens
when you pour your heart
into something that lives
because in the end
it will always leave you behind
but it still surprised me
that you left me when
I wanted you the most
