Kylie's pov
"Morning" I said in a sad tone coming down the stairs
"Good morning Kylie, why the sad look"Makayla said with concern.
"Nothing, I guess am just sad"i said with a low tone hoping she'll change the topic.
"Sad,about what"she said with more concern.
I sighed before deciding to tell her, she was my best friend,no, only friend.
"Well am kinda sad about me not getting a job."I said looking down at her.she nodded her head telling me to continue.
I smiled at her and continued. "You pay for everything in the apartment all the bills,you buy the groceries while I on the other hand pay for nothing because I don't have a job."I said sitting down opposite Makayla on the table.
She held my hand on the table "I don't have any problem with paying for everything in the apartment, besides your still searching for a jop and my jop can pay for it ,you do know am a makeup artist,right"she said sarcastically.
"You always know how to make me feel better."I said while laughing.
No doubt Makayla was a fabulous makeup artist,she had a lot of makeup and it always looked good on her.
"You've got an interview to get to and I have to get to work so let's eat and go,okay?"she said while getting the food from the counter.
In about 15 minutes we were done eating and Makayla droped me up at the restaurant where am having my interview. As I walk in the restaurant, I noticed there was no receptionist. To think of it I really didn't know what I was applying for, I only saw the flyer that read worker needed.
"Excuse me,this way" I turned around to see a lady guiding me on where to go.
I kindly followed and she lead me to a waiting room were I saw others who were probably applying for the same jop as me.
I looked around the waiting room and I realised that this is an expensive looking restaurant and the stares I get from the girl sitting beside me,made me feel nervous.
Is it what am wearing, I'm wearing a black pencil skirt with a blue button up shirt with my favourite pair of black flats, my black straight hair which is up in a neat bun made me look beautiful and I also looked formal. So why is she looking at me like that
"Kylie Matthews" a man said with a harsh tone.
I knew it was my turn to go in.
