"Your parents got in an accident" said Katy. "WHAT?! HOW?!" I screamed.
Luckily the other kids were all at the other side of the building.
"They got in a car accident, and.... and......." Katy started to get nervous and her sentence got cut off. "And what?" I asked. "They both............. died" I screamed "WHAT?!?!?!?! BUT, HOW, THIS CAN'T BE TRUE......... if I was in the car........." The room grew silent.
I ran out of the room crying. I ran through the hallways until I found the room with my bed. I went in and laid down to try and calm myself. Then Katy came in and dragged a chair with her. She put it by the window. Katy sat down and said "Sorry, I'm sorry for your loss", "Is my brother ok? Does he know?". "We called his parents, he does know, and he's actually not as upset as you, but he said you weren't loved by your parents, why are you sad?"
"I still love them" I said, sadly.
Katy left the room. I sat down to look outside. What did I see? Was it hope? It was unclear.
