One week later
Making sure everything was set, bri was still sleeping as I strapped her in the car seat. Getting in the car, I put her bag and my purse on the passenger seat.
Driving to Jordan's mother house, I got bri and her bag out of the car before ringing her door bell.
"Hey..oh she sleeping". Ms.Sherrie said as I wanted into the house.
"Yeah, she ate breakfast and went back to sleep". She smiled and took her from me, laying her on the couch.
"How you been?". I put bri's bag on the table.
"Good, it's just trying to adjust to everything you know?".
"Yeah but it'll work out for the better",
"I guess, um have you heard from Jordan?".
"Not today, he usually stops by but not this week".
"Today is my doctors appointment, I haven't talked to him".
"I know he wouldn't miss it". I nodded and bent down to kiss Brianna's forehead.

Sitting in the waiting room, few people were in here and I doubt they'll recognize me. The front door opened and Jordan walked in with a hoodie on. I could tell he was tired and I rubbed my stomach as he sat down next to me.
"You okay?". I asked him.
"Yeah I'm cool". Nodding my head, my name was called and Jordan offered to help me up but I did it without his help.
Going to the back, I sat down and Jordan sat on the chair next to me. The doctor walked in and she smiled at us.
She talked to us for a while before getting everything out. Feeling something cold on my stomach, I flinched as she moved the probe around.
"The heart beat is strong, you see the head right there?". She pointed to it and I smiled. Looking over at Jordan his eyes was glued to the screen while smiling.
"Can you tell the gender?". He asked.
"Not right now, what do you think it is?".
Both me and Jordan said two different things we looked at each other as the doctor laughed.

Sitting back in the chair, I stared at Toni as she talked to the doctor. Her stomach was cleaned up before the doctor left the room.
Standing up, I stood on the side of Toni and she looked at me.
"Can I?". I asked and she nodded. Placing my hand on her stomach, I kissed it and Toni was looking at the wall as I stood up straight.
"I haven't heard from you in a few days". She said as I helped her down.
"I know, just had to take care of some things".
"You sure you okay?".
"Yeah Toni, I'm alright". My phone ringing, I looked down at it and let it ring. I'm guessing Toni knew who it was because she started grabbing her things.
"Wait where you going?".
"I'm going home, go worry about the other bitch carrying you baby".
"Yo really?". I could tell she was holding back tears as she looked at me.
"Yes really, bri is with your mom don't worry about coming to the house".
She rushed out of the room and I sighed.

"Daddy!". Bri said as I walked into my moms house.
"What's up baby girl?". She ran to me and I picked her up.
"I missed you".
"I missed you too baby, where's granny?".
"Right here, where yo talk ass been?". I chuckled and sat down on the couch as bri touched all over my face.
"Had business to take care of, Ashley been buggin". She shook her head and I kissed bri's cheek.
"I'm tired of that little..-".
"Ma chill, Brianna right her".
"Okay, but it's the truth. She's nothing but problems".
"I'm trying to balance everything and it's hard ma. I just want my family back". I said as bri laid on my chest.
"This situation isn't the best but it'll take some time before you get that back".
"I know that..".
She patted my shoulder and went upstairs. I looked down at bri and she was watching tv.
"Why you so quiet?".
"No reason daddy". She smiled and I chuckled.
"You so silly bri. You staying with daddy today?".
"Yes, then we go home?".
"Not right now baby, you going home though".
"You and mommy always say that".
"I know princess, we'll all be together again soon".
