I awoke the next boring Sunday morning at late noon. I had slept in, the 3 boys from last night kept me up, running through my thoughts. I decided not to confess to anyone I knew vampires, well most certainly because I didn't yet believe it myself. I knew they weren't normal and had special qualities, but I hadn't come to that conclusion of them being blood suckers. Well off from the blonde, Niall.
My mom quietly opened the door. "Celia?" "Hmm?" "Oh good, you're awake." "Yup" I popped the P. "I'm going to work, I won't be home until late. Is that okay?" "Sure" "Don't leave this house okay? Just stay in all day today, make dinner, watch movies. As long as you don't leave" "You're still worried about me? Mom..I'm 17." "18, and reasons like that is why you are not leaving." I groaned, pulling my blankets up above my head. The door lock clicked close. I heard her footsteps and the car departing from our driveway.
This sucked. I was stuck. Trapped. I had been trapped for a whole month. I felt as if my room was my cave and I was banished, not allowed to come out. I heard a quiet knock on my window. I ran over removing my blinds. My eyes met Zayn, Harry and Niall. I raised my window, cold air colliding with my face. "What are you doing here!?" "You're coming with us" Niall cheered. "You bet I'm not." "C'mon Celia, we want to have some funnnn" Harry's rich voice sung. "Get ready, we'll wait for you" Zayn chirped in "Come to the front door. You can wait inside"
I ran down my staircase and swung the front door open. Niall skipped inside while Zayn and Harry stood awkwardly, swaying back and forth on their feet. "What's wrong" Niall's laugh echoed the room. "They have to be invited in" "Oh" I said smiling. His laugh was so contagious and cute. His smile was perfect and adorable. I couldn't help but to stare for several seconds. Zayn coughed. My head flipped back in their direction. I took a deep breath "Come in"
Harry walked in first, then Zayn following behind him. "You can just...erm sit here. I'll try to hurry"
"No need, I can wait forever. Also Dress warm" Harry winked with a smirk. I blushed and rolled my eyes. Harry was the biggest flirt out of all three. I wondered if I was a tomboy, getting along with guys more than girls. I wondered if I liked any of them before this. Harry and I never seemed extremely close until the night I lost my memory. I only saw how things were with him. Obviously if the others boys didn't care for me, they wouldn't be here.
I slipped out of my pajamas and into my dark black skinny jeans. I put on a wool cream sweater. I grabbed my violet gloves and black beanie. I put on a golden shade of eye shadow and liquid eyeliner and formed a cat eye. I added foundation and dark purple blush. I was ready.
I ran down the stairs and did a spin in front of the guys. "Warm enough?" "Perfect" Zayn smiled. I smiled in return and grabbed my prada purse. "My mom made it clear for me not to sneak out. We'll be back before midnight?" "Yes now lets go!" Niall squealed. He was always so loud and happy, but I didn't mind. I quite liked it actually. It gave off a good vibe, making you feel the same way.
We all piled in a range rover, once again the same positions from like-so the night they kidnapped me. No hard feelings though, I knew they just wanted to talk. Plus, I really had no one else. I wanted friends. I needed them.
Zayn rested his hand on my thigh, I vowed to object. He was mysterious and hot. I wanted to know the most about him. He seemed so quiet, like he was hiding things. Something made me think he was angry the other guys were with us, but I had no idea why. "So where are you kidnappers taking me this time?" "Were going ice skating" Zayn answered. "Oh no" "What's the matter?" "I don't know this for a fact, but I'm pretty sure I'm a clumsy person from what I've experienced." "One of the clumsiest" "Your gonna have to help me" "Of course Ce" "Thanks Malik"
His eyes widened, he drew back from our close proximity. "What?" I Asked. "What's wrong?"
"You...you use to call me that. I thought you forgot."
The car stopped. Harry and Niall's eyes were on us. "She's remembering" Zayn huffed. "She's actually...remembering."
We were all speechless the less. "It can't be possible" Harry mumbled, his eyebrows furrowed, mouth in a straight line. "How?" Niall whispered. "Celia, do you remember, ever calling me that? Think hard. Dig deep." said Zayn. "I can't" "Why?" "It makes my head hurt" Zayn put his hand on top of mine. He leaned in closer. "Please? For me" I licked my lips, closing my eyes. I was basically setting myself up for nothing else but failure. I had tried this so many times. It equaled in a massive headache and me in a bad mood. More upset and frustrated with my stupid brain. Flashes were shown in my mind. Almost like when you skipped a movie and the sound was all loud and scratchy. Things slowed down. My eyes drew open. Zayn was shaking me. "You okay?"
"The night you asked me to prom. I called you Malik and You called me Ce"
"What else? Do you remember more?"
"You were with me. In my room. I was scared because a girl had been killed. I was with Harry before. You told me it was going to be okay and that's when you asked me. My mom came home and you shuck out my window." Zayn wrapped me in a hug with a smile plastered on his face. "I can't believe this." The familiar ache ran through my head, a yell escaping my lips. It hurt crucially. Worst than all other times. Tears escaping my eyes, leaving traces on my face. Zayn held me close. "Its okay, you did great. I'm so proud of you."
He made me feel safe and warm. Trustworthy and convinced. Harry continued driving. We arrived at a frozen lake. No one else in sight, except us. Harry opened the back of his car passing us all skates. I slid them on tying them as tight as I could manage. We all stood in a line before we struck ice. "Race?" Harry requested to Zayn. "Bring it old man" Zayn pushed Harry's chest and jumped on the ice racing to the opposite side. Harry caught up. None of them showing a trace being out of breath.
"Don't worry. I can't catch up to them either." Niall said holding out a hand. I accepted. He helped me on the ice. He held onto me until the boys turned around. They raced back, Harry a bit in the lead. "I won! Not so bad for an 'old man'." Zayn scoffed and rolled his head back, deep laughter escaping his lips. We all skated for what felt like hours. The sky was now dark blue, stars spread upon it. "Make a wish" Harry said whispering in my ear, while the other boys were a few feet away. I closed my eyes tight. I wish, that I could have, every single memory back. I thought in my head. I opened my eyes to see a dimpled smile Harry. "What was your wish?" "I can't tell you or it won't come true" I teased.
