Why Are You Here

                    When I saw him I was bombarded with feelings, anger, sadness, hurt, and overall shock.  Vanessa saw my face and instantly asked me what was wrong, I replied

"He's here."

"Who's here Andy?" only one word found it's way past my lips

"John." her face darkened in anger

"What the *heck* is he doing here!"

"I don't know, but now I want to go home." at that moment Xavier asked

"What's wrong Andy?"

"My ex, my first 'love' who broke my heart into millions of pieces"

In case your wondering what I'm talking about here's why Alexandria is talking about

               It was 2011 I thougt I was deeply, madly, and completely in love, boy was I wrong.  It was a warm summer day and Jacob asked me to meet him in the park at 1:00n p.m. because he wanted to tell me something important little did I know all he wanted to do was break up with me.  So  I was at the park waiting for him to come it was 12:59 and finally he was there.  I was sitting on the swing when I saw him I immediately jumped up and went over to kiss him when he pushed me away.  He told me he couldn't do this anymore and that we were through.  I asked him why was he doing this and then he gave me the whole it's not you it's me but when I couldn't take it anymore I just yelled

"Did you cheat on me or something?!"he looked taken aback but finally said

"Look it's just that-"

"You did didn't you!!!!!!!!!!!!!''

"Alexandria-"

"Didn't you!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I'm sorry it's just that I really wanted to have *you know what* but you were all like 'I'm savingmyself 'till marriage'"

"How dare you!" I shouted

"How could you I thought you loved me but here you go and cheat on me I hate you and I don't want anything to do with you!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed my face red in anger.

                   I threw the necklace he gave me at his head the one he offered to me when he asked me to be his girlfriend.   I was hurt, I felt like my heart was ripped out of my chest, thrown onto the ground, and run over with a lawnmower I hated him.  I ran home my tear stained face a blur to all passerby, I tore the door open, ran through the house to my room and slammed the door.  Vanessa was the only one home and came softly knocking on my door.

"Who is it" I croaked.

"It's me, Vanessa" I heard her say softly

"Come in" a sob racked through my entire being.

"You look a mess" I could hear the joking tone in her voice nut I couldn't help but snap,

"I know"

"What's wrong" I could hear the concern in her voice but then I just broke down,

"He cheated on me" I screamed, my voice going hoarse.  I felt my bed sink down beside me and felt Vanessa's slender arms wrap around my shaking form.  I could hear her cooing to me on how it was his fault and how I was to good for him.  I remember crying afterwards for days but finally after a week of Vanessa helping me get to sleep she finall ygot tired of it and I felt really bad so one day we went to school and at somepoint after school she kneed him in the groin and a few weeks after that he moved.

                      Finally during the whole awkward silence after my story telling I got annoyed and said

"Hey can we go?  I'm not feeling real well now."

"Sure, I hope you boys don't mind if we leave." Vanessa said we were replied with replies of sure you guys can go.  So that's exactly what we did, we left.  I felt like such a coward, running away with my tail between my legs.  Maybe tomorrow will be better than today.
