"What's so appealing in stars?" Unwinding himself on his six-foot mat, the boy questioned whilst fidgeting with the beige fine sand.

"I love watching them talk. I love watching them get shy in front of one another..." A small figure spoke, eyes fixed on the dazzles complementing the abyss of dark blue, pupils filled with every string of tangling emotion.

"In every couplet, one sparkles first, and another follows suit. I like observing their relationship. It is intriguing, and somewhat, ludicrous. Funny how both of them never vault at the same time, how they carefully conceal their deepest entrails, afraid to concede what they long for and has always, and only, been in their fantasies veiled." Still expressionless and serene, he faintly grasped the rug beneath him with his idled left, exhaling.

"Yeah, funny how you fabricated a tale on the freaking stars... Very funny indeed..." The former sneered and laid back, crossing his toned arms behind his head. Unconcerned, but intent.

"When you yourself can't even follow what your heart's kept telling you, because your damn brain is too spontaneously active on its own? Funny right?"

There was anger, there was frustration.

There was dying patience.

Silence ferociously hurled itself at the speechless two. It was not until the former left out a sigh and altered his back then the quietude died away.

"I...Goodnight."

"G...Goodnight." The crouched body responded, tenderly, almost unheard.

The boy sighed again as he closed his eyes. It had been a while until the latter gradually succumbed and pulled himself to a remotely familiar mat, snuggled closer to the torso of his, now, alter ego, and gently fit his unruffled left into the delicate open palm. The stars continued to shimmer as the gemini slipped into radiant slumber.
