It wasn't until the next morning when I arrived home from the party at 2:30a.m. and as soon as I made it through my bedroom window, making a loud 'thump' on the floor - I was extremely drunk and on the verge of puking for the second time - I passed out.

The next morning I woke up on the floor, but I didn't wake up because of my usual incoming text message, or an alarm clock but I woke up to my dad barging into my room, yelling his head off at me.

"Molly Margaret Evans!" Dad yelled. "What part of being grounded don't you understand?"

I was a bit startled and my hangover caught up with me, giving me a pounding head ache to cope with, as well as my dad. "Don't you know better the yell at people who are hangover?" I screeched.

"No I clearly don't." He yelled back. "I don't care how drunk you got last night. Now you are officially grounded form leaving the house unless it is for school or I give you permission and considering you have another exam today you better get off your ass and get organized for it."

I grabbed my pillow to cover my ears but I still heard him yell about the exam I had today. "Shit." I muttered in realisation. 'Now I really wish I could just stay home today,' I thought as my dad left my room, furious.

At the thought of school it repulsed me, having to learn and pretend to pay attention to the teacher or anyone else for that matter was too much effort. However school repulsed me even more as I have a major exam today and another two exams over the next two days. Before my mum died, I would have jumped enthusiastically about the thought of going to school, learning new things, even doing homework and exams. I would be the first person in the world to finish the homework my class received and in an exam if I didn't do so well, the next exam I had I would study even harder, study for longer, and even study for fun. But now, I am the complete opposite of who I used to be. From a teenager who used to get straight A's every time, is now a teenager who flunks every subject with straight D's.

After debating to myself whether to actually come to school and complete the exam or ditch the day and go shopping I found myself pulling into the school parking lot. My head ache was still occurring so I took some medicine in hopes that the head ache will disappear, I flipped the sun visor down in the car to check my make up covered the dark circles under my eyes from the hangover. When I saw they were still visible I slipped my sunglasses on to cover my eyes and laid back in the drivers seat in my car. I closed my eyes and tried to attempt to remember what happened last night...

I arrived at Brandy's Bar and Alexis was waiting out the front like she said, although she was already completely drunk and vomiting in the nearest bin. I entered the Bar, using my fake ID and brought a bottle of water and chucked it to Alexis and then I abandoned her. I entered the bar again and brought myself a vodka shot and quickly swallowed it as it burnt the back of my throat and quickly dissolved. I decided to mingle with some strangers that were already too drunk to notice that they didn't know me. I told them we should dance and they all agreed with me, a blonde guy who I suspected to in his twenties took my hand and we started dancing to the beat of the music. A few songs passed and the guy brought me another round of vodka, and another and another. I drank too many to keep count and my memory started to get blotchy.

I remember asking a guy to dance and he said "Yes."

I danced with him and although I don't remember what the guy looked like I do remember his blue, crystal eyes. It was the same eye colour that my mum had. I think that was the reason I asked him to dance in the first place, but I'm not too sure. The only other thing I remember is arriving home.

The bell rang, signalling homeroom. I waited a few seconds before I slipped out of my silver Audi and locked it as I made my way slowly to the classroom. In the hall around me there were other seniors preparing themselves for the English exam we have today. There was a bunch of girls huddling in front of my locker, so I pushed past them and they all glared at me before continuing their conversation.
