We Need To Work Together

Slowly I stand up from my bed, thinking what we should do about saving Koro-sensei.

We... have to find a way
to save Koro-sensei...
We can't let him die.

Thinking, I walk straight not noticing where I'm walking.
"Ow!"
I hit my head to the door... or the door hit my head.
I rub the place that hit my head and wear my school uniform.
I should give Karma a sorry about our battle before I go to school... At least an explanation.
I wonder if we will go to school together anyways. We hold hands yesterday but when we got to home, we didn't talk about anything.

Maybe even a person like
Karma can get furious about his pride?
I really don't know.

I exit from my room with a sigh but at the same time I step out from my room, I bump into something.
Well, into someone, to be more accurate.
I fall with a large thud.
"Ouch!"
I hear a chuckle from on top of my head.
"K-Karma?"

"Yeah Karma, pretty sure I'm not some ghost. But your face expression says otherwise."
I laugh and he starts laughing with me.
He holds out his hand to me with his usual smirk on his face.
"What..?"
I stare at his hand.
"Come on, take it and stand up."
I take his hand slowly.

Taking his hand... It was warm and comfortable.

He helped me getting up while I still couldn't face to him.
"T-Thank you."
I feel my cheeks get hotter and redder.

ut I know that I have to tell him what I want to say.
"Umm... Karma, I actually wanted to say something to you."
"Yeah?..."
"About our last battle on yesterday... Of course I didn't want to fight with you either. But... I don't want Koro-sensei to die. I want stay with him as long as I can! I know that I haven't been with him as long as you did. However, it doesn't change my feelings. I... I don't want him to die."

I squeeze his hand slightly and he squeeze my hand back.
"As an assassin, I want to kill my target without any regrets. However, I can't help but accept the fact I was having fun with Koro-sensei all the time. That why, you don't need to apologize Ichigo."
I nod simply. Unable to speak.

I am happy that he wants to save Koro-sensei.
I am happy that he feels like
the same with me.

I look down at my hand seeing we are still holding hands tightly.
"U-Um Karma you can let my hand go now..."
"No, I can see it on your face you don't want to."
He smirks and wink, making me blush harder.
I nod simply.
"Then let's go to school, together?"
He give me a little smile.
"Yeah, let's go."

We exit from the house and start walking to our school.
I was too happy that I couldn't help myself but dash.
"Wahoo~!"
"W-woah Ichigo wait wa--"
Before he could finish his sentence, something happen.
I bump to something again.

It was my third time bumping
into something for God's sake!

"Ouchhhhh! This is not my day!"
Karma starts laughing.
"Pretty sure, the poor tree it hurt him what did he ever do to you?"
He laughs even harder.
I look in front of me and see the tree.
The tree that I bumped into on my first day in Ansatsu Kyoushitsu World.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?"
I try not to burst out with laughter but Karma already started laughing like a maniac. Hearing his laughter, I also burst into laugh.
After few minutes of definitely not being rational, we stop laughing even though we were smirking to each other like idiots.
"Okay okay but we have to go now."
"Yep yep! Let's go!"

~Timeskip~

"Okamura-san?"
I hear a familiar voice coming from my behind.
"Ooooh hey, Ikemen-kun."
"

Please don't call me like that."
He slightly blushes and I laugh.
But it looks like Karma didn't like the conversation between us that much.
Since he grasped my hand a bit tighter, though it didn't hurt, I could feel his jealousy.

So Karma also has cute sides
like this.

Someone, a mystic creature to put it correctly, open the class's door with Mach 20.
"Please go to your seats everyone."
Hearings Koro-sensei's voice, all of us head to our owns seats.
Karasuma and also Irina join to us and Takebayashi head to board to make his talk.

"Let's this about this in general terms everyone. Are the world's leaders really only thinking about killing Koro-sensei? Because I don't think so. After all, their original goal is to save the Earth. Along with their research on killing him, I believe that they must be doing research that doesn't involve killing him. Why don't we look into that?"

Karasuma turn to Takebayashi and nod.
"It is true, the world's top science facilities have formed project teams focused on saving the planet. But naturally, that info is all top-secret. It would be though for you guys to find out their research material."
Then suddenly, I hear a cheerful voice, cutting off Karasuma's sentence.

"I have infiltrated the project database!"
"What?!"
"If it connected online on PC, I can nearly get into everything I want. I also have learned so much this year!"
Everyone surround around Ritsu.
"Wow! We can see what labs around world are searching and what is on their schedule!"
Isogai say with a surprised voice.
"But I couldn't find any traces of online data we are looking for."

Isogai nod slowly.
"I guess the top-secret information is only passed around by person."
"Is anyone doing research on how to Koro-sensei then?"
Suddenly, Yada point to a certain place on Ritsu's screen.
"There! An American research team." Then she start reading what is there.
"Preventing destructive antimatter chain reactions due to tentacle-cell aging and fission! Final samples to be returned from ISS on 1/25?..."

"ISS? Isn't that the International Space Station?! That's where they are doing their research?!"
"If we could only see that data..."
Karasuma slowly shake his head.
"Unfortunately, you are just one tiny, distant outpost of assassins. Depending on circumstances, that data may never come."
In the silence, finally someone find the courage to speak out loud.

Which was Karma.

"Karasuma-sensei? No matter what happens, we won't stop the assassination. But we don't want two be lukewarm about it neither. If there is a way to save him, we will save him."
I stand next to Karma while nodding.
"Even if not, we have decided to handle that too. After all, it is our class's critical goal. So we want to know surely now, so we can stick with our assassination until we graduate."

Karasuma start thinking but when Koro-sensei started talking, he look up to him.
"Karasuma-sensei, Irina-sensei, can you step out a bit?"
They nod and exit from the classroom and all of us head to our seats.
"So here is what you are trying to do: before the information about the research reaches to Earth, you want to take a peek of it."

"But how?..."
"About that!"
Koro-sensei takes out a tablet, showing something to us.
"Did you know they are about to send this up to ISS?"
"A manned rocket?"
"Yes it is being developed here in Japan. It is supposed to carry an experimental dummy but..."

"What if there are real people in that?"

"You don't mean-"
"Ha! Our teacher is crazy in the head after all."
"Yes! An out-of-season research project for our assassination classroom: Hijack the space station and steal their experimental data!"
I take a glance at Karma and he look at me.
"So does it mean that?..."
I smile at Karma.

"It looks like we are going to
the space, Karma."
