The Ghost Hunter.
One fine sunny afternoon a ghost hunter named Lori, on her way home from her busy job hopped on a train and sat in her favourite railway carriage number 13. To her surprise she heard a horrifying meow.
"Oh what was that", stated Lori.
Lori took a sigh of relief when she realise it was just her powers, as the cat was transparent. It sat there staring at her with its haunting green eyes, it seemed to be trying to communicate, maybe even
warn her. "I've been looking for you," He purrs. Lori was stuck in her tracks. She had never imagined that a cat could talk.
She was speechless, how was it possible for a cat to be talking. Only the cat from Alice in Wonderland could talk, which gave her an idea.
"Are you a Cheshire cat? Or are you just a figure of my imagination?" The cat just grinned and after a long pause he spoke.
"I'm not a Cheshire cat, my name is Fin bar. I'm simply just a dead cat that wants to leave this world and be at peace". He replied.
Abruptly Lori lost her train of thought as she heard a click of the carriage door. In came a handsome man in a uniform. His eyes a deep shade of blue, his smile was broad. In one hand he held a toffee apple. Lori smiled back sardonically at him.
"Hello there my name is Jackson, and you are?" He asked.
"Lori" she said with little effort.
"Want a toffee apple?" Jackson offered.
"No that's disgusting"
Just as she said her reply she went into a deep flash back. You see when Lori was a child, on Christmas Eve, her parents bought 3 toffee apples, one for her Mum, her dad and Lori herself.
While her family was enjoying the glorious dessert simultaneously her parents choked to death. Ever since then she has hated and never eaten a toffee apple again.
Suddenly the carriages right window smashed open filling the carriage with harsh winds as a giants hand pushed Jackson towards Lori.
The giants hand smashed through the other side of the carriage clutching a goat in his stubby fingers. The carriage lifted momentarily off of the train tracks as the giant pulled his hand out of the carriage.
Lori screamed as Jackson knocked her to the ground covering her from any potential danger. Lori looked at Jackson angrily as she pushed him off to the side and stood up exasperated.
"What the hell!" Lori shouted at Jackson.
" What are you talking about? I saved you. Why're you acting so strange?" Jackson asked shocked.
"Would you two quit your arguing: I'm looking for a ghost hunter, Have you seen one around here?" The giant growled.
Somehow after all of the chaos, Jackson and Lori had ended up at an abandoned factory. Jackson could tell that for some reason Lori was shocked or maybe even afraid of going into the building.
Jackson stopped in his tracks when he saw a jet black pug sitting in the middle of the giant empty room.
Even more shocking the pug had a suit with a red bow tie on. Lori gasps then a giant smile spread across her face. Then she started to run towards the pug, which Jackson found a bit odd.
"Oh Honey! I've missed you so much!" She squealed at the pug and then lifted it up into her arms.
"Oh honey where have you been? I even wrote you a poem" The pug said in a very manly voice.
"Edger Allen Pug This is why I love you" Lori smiles and kisses the top of the pugs head.
"Roses are red, Violets are blue, bacon is red... nothing rhythms with bacon. I love you" The pug finished his poem and Lori was looking into his eyes. Then she realised that Jackson was still in their presences.
She turns and looked at him. "Oh by the way Jackson... This is my husband"
The end.
