Chapter Two

The ride to S.H.I.E.L.D. seemed short, but in reality it really wasn't. Natalia was just too caught up in her own mind to have a concept of time...

Natalia jumped when the doors in the front seats opened and the two got out. Natalia unbuckled her seat belt and opened the door jumping out.

Natalia looked up at the big S.H.I.E.L.D. building well Coulson grabbed her suitcase from the back. Suddenly someone snapped their fingers in Nat's face well saying, "Earth to Natalia."

Nat pulled back blinking a few times to see Coulson. "Oh... Sorry," she mumbled.

"It's okay, but you need to get inside and go to Fury's office, okay?" Coulson explained as he held her suitcase out to Nat. Nat took the suitcase with a single nod.

Nat started towards the building with the suitcase rolling behind her when she suddenly stopped realizing she had no idea where Fury's office really was. She spun around to ask Coulson, but he was gone.

Natalia stared for a second before she turned around slowly walking towards the building. Her feet made small clicking noises against the black top from her combat boots.

Once Natalia was in the building she looked around figuring it would have to be in one of the higher levels so she walked to the elevator suddenly coming to an abrupt stop as someone ran into her.

Nat silently cursed as she fell backwards. She caught herself so it wasn't such a bad fall, but the person who had ran into her fell right on top of her. Making them both hit the ground.

"I'm so sorry," the girl squeaked as she got off of Nat and held out her hand to help pull Nat up. Nat just ignored the hand and pushed herself up grabbing her bag from the ground.

"Just don't do it again," she mumbled. Nat didn't mean to seem so rude, but it just happens with her.

The girl nodded. "I-I'm Cameron, but most call me Cam, or Copycat," The girl-Cameron said.

"Nat," Nat said with a small nod. She then went to the elevator and pressed the button to open the elevator. The elevator doors slid open and Nat stepped in her grip tightening on her backpack.

After the short elevator ride she managed to make it to his office, but before she went in she paused. She heard two men talking. One was Nick Fury, but the other one she didn't know who it belonged to.

"Listen, Rogers. We need you to watch over her as a sort of evaluation person. In a month we will come back to ask you what you think she is; A thre-"

Before Fury could finish Nat slowly entered the room with a knock of the door. She walked in, but paused by a couch. She looked to see the one and only Captain America standing across from Nick Fury...

"Uh, hi..." Nat mumbled looking at Steve knowing they were talking about her...
