~Witch?~

Nobody's POV
It was a normal day in the Fairy Tail Guild.  Natsu, and Gray fighting over some dum argument, Cana drinking, Erza eating her strawberry cake, Elfman yelling out MAN, Mirajane working behind the bar, and Lucy drinking her strawberry smoothly while talking to Levy who was reading books. Then when Natsu, and Gray got told off by Erza they stopped fighting. Natsu walked over to Lucy with his signature grin that everyone new.

"Hey Luce, whatcha doin?" Natsu asked.

"Just drinking a strawberry shake, and talkin to Levy." Lucy replied bluntly.

"Ok, so want to go on a job, I found this really good one. All we have to do is capture an evil witch, and the reward is 70,000 jewel?" Natsu asked.

"Sure, and that's enough to pay my rent for this month." Lucy said excitedly.

"Cool.  I already asked Happy if he wanted to come, but he said he's going to stay at the guild with Carla and Wendy today. But mostly Carla." Natsu said.

"Ok, that's fine." Lucy said.

They walked over to Mira who was chatting with Laxus.

"Hey Mira, can you stamp this job for us please?"  Lucy asked.

"Oh, you guys are taking the with hunt one? I see well see you guys later, and good luck." Mira said while stamping the paper, and smiling.

They walked to the train station, and got on the train. It was about a 3 hour ride to get to there destination. Natsu just growled all the way there, while his head was in Lucy's lap. Lucy just played with his hair, but then fell asleep.

Lucy's POV
I woke up by the train stopping. Once it stopped completely Natsu stood up. He quickly grabbed my hand, and we exited the train. Once we were outside he let go of my hand.

"Finally we're off the train!" He said with relief.

"Yah." I said.

We started walking towards are hotel to stay the night. It was 7:38 right now. When we got there Natsu started pigging out at the cafe, and I went to our room to set our stuff up. When I got done I noticed there was only one bed. I pushed the thought aside, because Natsu usually sneaks into my house at night and sleeps in my bed anyways. I took a bath, got dressed, brushed my teeth, and went to bed. I woke up by the sound of the door opening. Natsu walked in, and noticed me stretching.

"Oh sorry Luce, I didn't mean to wake you up." He said.

"It's ok." I replied tiredly.

He sat on the bed, but I quickly shooed him off.

"What?" He asked.

"Go clean yourself up before getting into bed." I said.

"But Luce..." He wined.

I gave him a stern look.(-_-)

"Fine..." He said.

He got off the bed, and headed into the bathroom. 30 minutes later he came out, and got beside me in bed.

"Night Natsu." I said tiredly.

"Night Luce." He replied.

I woke up and felt warmth all around me. I turned to see Natsu hugging me still asleep. I felt my face burning up.  I had a little freak out moment for about 30 seconds. Then I calmed myself down a little.

"N-Natsu why are you hugging me?" I stuttered.

He stirred but didn't wake up.

"N-Natsu?" I repeated.

This time he woke up. He blinked a few times, then looked at me and smiled.

"Mornin Luce!" He said.

"Um.. N-Natsu... Why were you hugging me?" I said.

"Oh... Uh... When you were asleep I noticed you were shivering. So I warmed you up." He said.

"Oh.. Thanks." I said.

"Well let's get goin." He said.

"Ok" I said.

We started walking towards the forest where the witch has been spotted several times. We went deeper, and deeper into the forest.

Natsu's POV
We have been walking in this forest for quite some time. We then came to a dark part in the forest. I smelled a sour scent. I followed the foul smell until it led us to a cave.

"Careful Luce, something doesn't smell right." I warned her.

"Gotcha." She replied.

I took a few steps forward. Then I heard a twig snap from behind us. I quickly turned my head.

"Hehehehehe... I see you've found my hideout." An eerie voice said.

"It's the witch, keep your guard up!" I yelled to Luce.

The witch just cackled some more, and a thick fog started to surround us. I tried to punch the witch before the fog covered us up completely. I tried to smell her scent, but the fog covered up everything's scent. I called out Lucy's name.

"Luce are you there?" I yelled.

~Silence~

"Luce?" I yelled louder.

I was starting to get worried when I heard foot steps coming from behind me. I quickly lit my fist on fire, and turned around.

"Woah, calm down Natsu it's just me." Lucy said.

I extinguished my fist quickly.

"Why didn't you answer me when I was calling your name?" I asked.

"You were calling my name?... I didn't here anything. I only saw 2 bright lights through the fog, so I followed them and it led me to you." She said.

"Weird." I said.

Then we heard that evil witches cackle again. We both tried to see where the noise was coming from, but the sound seemed like it was coming from all around us. We got into our battle stances. I heard the witch mumble something, and then darkness surrounded both me, and Luce. I dint have much time to react before the darkness in gulped us completely.
