I woke up at 5:30 am for school, as usual. But I woke up.....happy? Hm, that doesn't happen very often. Maybe it was going to be a good day. I haven't had one of those in a while. Well, I wasn't gonna let anything ruin this feeling! Let's just hope nobody comes along to do that. Looks like it's time to get redy for school. FUN! LOL......not.
After an hour and a half(ish) I was ready and off to school. I saw Eylessia, one of my amazing(and few) friends. Me, her, and Rachel(my sis) did one of our usual/daily "hug sessions" then went to band together. Halfway through class i took Essie's phone and went on Facebook. I expected nothing, considering I wasnt very important or "popular." But, my news feed, I-I couldn't believe what i was seeing......
My friend Mathew...h-h-he.......killed himself?! NO!!.....I felt my eyes watering. I couldn't hold in my cries. How could this be? I wasnt there to help him when he needed me. This day couldn't get any worse. It sure as Hell wasn't gonna be getting better. I just tried getting through the day with the least amount of breakdowns as possible. I just wanted this day to be over. I just needed comfort, which I knew I wouldn't really get.
School flew by and before I knew it I was home and curled up in my room. I decided I'd try going on Facebook, maybe that might cheer me up. Nobody was messaging me so I went o. the 'Emo & Scene World' page i admin. I decided I'd tell them what i found out earlier in the day, since nobody else would care to listen.
"So my friend Mat killed himself this morning. So I won't be on much. Sorry. Love you guys. ~Emo&Lyrical" is what i posted.
After a bit 2 people had commented on what i posted. One of the names kind of popped out to me. It was 'Rube You Done Goofed.' Cute. He was saying he was there for me. I would've added him but, unfortunately, we were both blocjed from adding. As I was waiting for him to comment again I decided I'd take a quick look at his profile. I loved his profile picture. It showed how unique he was. He had his make-up done like Dee Snider. When I was do e with that I looked on the page again to see that he had given me his number. I was honestly a bit nervous about texting him. But, I did it anyway.
I texted him saying it was 'Emo&Lyrical' which is all he knew me by. Soon he asked me my real name. Which i did tell him.(Rebecca) He liked my name hehe. Well, anywho, he conforted me the whole night. I couldn't help but to be actually happy. I finally went to sleep with a smile on my face. All thanks to Ruben. :)
"Maybe I will have someone who will be there for me, maybe my life will get better." I thought as i slowly drifted off to sleep.
