Rose's POV:
Daddy picked me up from my first day of first grade. I noticed he was the only one with a motorcycle, and frowned. I ran up to him, hugging him tightly.
"Hey Daddy? Why are you the only one with a motahcycle?" I asked, still frowning. Daddy knelt down so he could look at me face to face.
"Because none of them are as cool as your daddy." He replied, picking me up. He set me down of the back of his black Harley and put a helmet on my head. He then proceeded to get on the bike. I wrap my arms around him as best as I can. He starts up the bike and we start going home. I cling on tight to him as he picks up speed. After a while we arrive back at our house, and I let go of Daddy.
"You have fun, Rose?" He asks. I hop off of the bike with my Nightmare Before Christmas backpack strapped tight to my back, and nod. I wait for Daddy to unlock the door. I already know my mommy will be home when I get ready for bed. She works a lot. Daddy comes up behind me and unlocks the door. I go in and drop my backpack on the ground, running off the kitchen.
"Daddy!" I yell, as I try to reach a drink out of the fridge. He comes in a few minutes later and sees me attempting to climb on a chair. He walks out, picks me up, and asks "What are you doing, Little one?" He asks, laughing quietly.
"I wanted a dwink..." I trail off, pouting slightly. I am still reaching out trying to grab the can of Mountain Dew. He laughed again and grabbed it for me. I take it and he put me down after thanking him.
"Don't tell Mommy I let you have this. Rose you want to go and pick you up some music of your own?" Daddy asks me. I nod excitedly. He picks me up once again and carries me outside to the motorcycle, grabbing his keys in the process. Daddy hands me my sparkly, dark purple helmet to put on , and sets me on the back. He then gets on and turns on the bike as we start driving to a music store called Rogue Music.
When we arrived, I seen the many familiar guitars and posters hanging on the wall of the music store. This is the place Mommy works! It's a really cool place with good music too! Daddy pulls up to the music store after what seems like forever. He turns off the engine and takes my helmet off for me, before picking me up off the bike and onto the ground.
I reach out for Daddy's hand as we start walking across the street to the store. He takes my small hand in his larger one, helping me along. We make it to the other side safely and enter the store. The chimes sound as we pass through the doorway and I look around. I pout slightly when I can't see Mommy, but wonder off the the record section.
I fall down with an 'oomph' after I run into something. I look up to see a really tall man. I look at him wide-eyed, slightly scared that he'll yell at me.
"I'm sowwy, Mister..." I trail off, pushing myself to my feet.
"You alright kid?" He said, looking down at me. I nod, peeking at him through my bangs. He had long black hair and light brown eyes. He kneeled down so he could look me in the eyes and said, "What's your name?"
"R-Rose..." I hesitated with my reply, still hiding my face. He smiled at me and told me his name was Ace.
"Where are your parents, Rose?" He asked. I shrug and point in the general direction of my dad.
"Mommy is working. She's somewhere in the back...I think..."
" Well how about we go find her? I'm sure she wants to see you." I nod and grab the strange man's hand as he leads me up to the front counter. As we are turning out of an aisle full of records, Mommy came out of the back room and stopped. She stared at the strange man and me.
"R-Rose," My mom stuttered. "Come back here with Mommy" She muttered quietly. I let go of the man's hand and ran to my mom behind the counter and jumped up into her arms. I was going to ask my mommy what she was doing when I noticed her and the man staring at each other; so I stayed quiet.
"Hey,Aella. It's been awhile, hasn't it. You work here?" The big man named Ace said.
"Um, yeah, its me and my husbands store." She answered before she looking at me and asking where Daddy was.
"He's back in the wecordng woom playing with his guitar again." I say.
"Why don't you go ask him to start your lessons for the night so we can get home early, ok Pumpkin?." Mommy said as she put me back on the floor.
"Otay Mommy," I said, putting up an I love You sign with my hands and walking away. "Bye Mister Ace!" I yelled, heading into the instrument room
