It was Sunny Monday as I went to school. Anyway, I’m Dylan Sawyer from Xavier High School in 30 West 16th Street, New York. I’m a heart throb in our school and yeah, I admit I’m hot. And I’m a kind of guy you want to spend your time every day. Anyway, I was already in front of our school. I walk down the hall way, turned left and went upstairs at our building. I put my bag on my chair and waited for my best friends. It was 5:35 in the morning when I got to school from home which is a walking distance. But I always bring my car with me. A heart throb shouldn’t be walking around the street.
I went searching for my cell phone inside my pocket. I dialed my best friend’s number, Scott Timber. He got a lot of sense of humor. Ring! Ring! My cell phone vibrated. After a second, Scott answered his phone.
Hey? What’s up? I’m on my way to school.
“Oh. Good. Nobody’s still here and it’s a bit dark.”
Scared?!
“No I’m not! There’s nobody I can talk to here. It’s freaking silent.”
Talk to the security guard.
“Yeah. Thanks for your help. I’ll wait you here.”
Sure. Bye. I’m hanging up.
As soon as he said that, I hang up my phone. Scott arrived at 5:55 am together with the other students. We attended the flag ceremony and a two hour boring subject. Then BREAK TIME! We went to the high school cafeteria and ordered our food. When I was about to sit at our table I saw this girl with braces and wearing glasses. Yuck. She’s a nerd and it annoys me. I don’t know why.
“Hey bro.” Scott said patting me in the back.
“Hey. Got to ask you something.” I said.
“What’s that about?”
“Do you know that girl with braces and glasses?” I said pointing to the nerdy girl.
“Oh. No. Maybe she’s the transferee Mr. Hornbuckle was talking about. She’s cute. . . but totally NERD!” Scott said, putting an accent to the word NERD. My other friends, Evan and Nathan, started cracking up. Then I cracked up laughing too. The nerdy girl looked at our direction. Maybe she heard Scott. She looked away quickly and the smile on her face faded. She sat at her table with herself. Her back was facing us so we couldn’t see her face. I looked at Scott.
“She’s a transferee, right?” I asked Scott, while drinking my soda.
“Nyeah. Whry?” Scott asked, munching his cheese burger. But I understood it. It means: Yeah. Why?
“Well, I want her.” I said, smirking.
“What?!” Nathan asked, choking.
“You want her?!” Evan asked, before he could even take a bite of his burger.
“You’re over reacting guys. I mean, I want her to be our new target.”
“Oh.” They said in unison.
“Just ‘Oh’? Not ‘We should have a plan’?”
“Oh Yeah. Plan.” Scott smiled devilishly. We talked about the prank we will use to the nerdy girl. And then the bell rang.
“Stupid Bell.” Scott muttered.
“IKR.” Nathan agreed.
“Yuck, Nathan. Would you stop saying ‘IKR’. Those are for girls. Eek.” Scott laughed.
“Well, then. I Know, Right? Happy?” Nathan said, laughing.
“Sure.” Scott replied. We all laughed in unison and headed back to our classroom. After taking a two-hour boring subjects again, the bell RANG. We quickly get our bags and headed to the cafeteria. We always ate our lunch there. Everybody does. So we ordered at the counter and went to our table. I ordered a separated soda. I secretly put ten drops of soy sauce in the soda. So, the prank starts.
