Love struck

Chapter 7~

Mia's POV
We decided on a pool day. I always leave a swimsuit at Austin's because I'm there so much. The swimsuit I left at Austin's house was a pink bikini with pineapples on it. (Above)
This was one of my favorite swimsuits. All the guys always have swimsuits in there car because why not. We all got ready got our towels and went outside. Everyone got in right away normally I do to but I need to get tanner so I laid on the beach chair. I put some sun tanning spray on in the bathroom. I laid down and started soaking up the sun. I was laying in the sun for 20-30 min when I heard someone get out of the water.
H- why are you tanning when there is a game of football in the pool?
M- because I am white AF.
H- nah I've seen people more pale than you. You should come play with us it will be fun. Common.
M- I'm good here.
H- you give me no choice.
As soon as he said that he picked me up bridal style and threw me in the pool. He jumped in after me.
M- Hayes!
H- what?!?! You need to do something!
M- ugh.
H- your on my team.
At that point I didn't have a choice. I started playing football with them which is super fun. Then we had a chicken fight. I got on top of Austin's shoulders and Hayes got on top of Nash's. We basically tied we fell in at the same time. I started getting cold. I got out.
H- why are you getting out?
M- I'm a little cold.
Hayes got out and ran to the towels before I got there he took all the towels and started running with them. I started chasing him around for a towel. We were on the cement when I all of the sudden twisted my ankle and fell to the ground.
M- OWWWWW!!!!!
H- OMG ARE YOU OKAY!
I started crying because at this point I knew something was wrong because I couldn't move my ankle. I was bleeding from my hands and knees because I landed on them. I was crying I couldn't see anything from my tears.
I think Austin called my mom. Because she came rushing to me after 10 min. Hayes carried me to the car. I didn't even buckle. I had my head on Hayes crying so bad. My mom took me to the hospital. Hayes carried me in and they took me to X-Ray as soon as i got there. I was done crying when they were done taking the X-rays. They pushed me in a wheel chair to the waiting room where I saw all the guys. We waited for 15 min when I got called back. Austin and my mom went with. We got into the room and the doctor showed me the X-rays.
"I am sorry to say that you have a broken ankle. We will put you in a cast. Give you some crutches and you will be on your way. And you will have to come back in 2 weeks." The doctor said.

M- 2 weeks?
"Yes" the doctor replied.
H the doctor showed me the colors of the casts there was. I picked mint green. Because I love mint green. He wrapped up my foot and gave me some crutches. I have to go back in two weeks to get the cast off and get a boot.
We left the hospital. Me Hayes and austin got back in my moms car. We drove back to Austin's house to get my stuff.
M- mom can Austin stay over tonight?
Mm- that's fine
I told Austin he could stay so he grabbed a bag. I said goodbye to everyone and we left. When we got home I slowly made my way upstairs. As Austin was carrying my bag, his bag and my crutches for me.  We got up to my room and I plopped down on the bed. It feels good to be in my own bed. It was only 5:00 and I was super hungry so my mom ordered some chipotle. Austin and I ate our chipotle and watched some Netflix. When I finished I had to pee so I took my crutches and made my way to the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror. I had bandages on my knees hands and one on my face from falling in the concrete. I called my mom up after I was done in the bathroom.
M- how will I take a shower with this?
Mm- oh the doctor gave me some bags that can go around your leg let me go get them!
I grabbed some clothes. An oversized sweatshirt and some short shorts along with underwear.
My mom brought me the bags.
I went into the bathroom and got undressed I put the bag on my ankle. I looked at my cast. All of the boys signed it. They all  said I love you and get better soon and can't wait to see you again in some sort of way. Austin's said "no more trampoline park for a while, guess I will go without you,jk, Ilysfm! ❤️" gosh I love him.

I got in the shower. Everything that got scrapped burned so bad. I was slowly dying from how much it burned. I got out and got dressed. I bandaged up my knees and my face. I was about to bandage my hands. But I couldn't 1 handed. I went out into my room w/ the gauze and Neosporin. I saw a shirtless Austin laying on my bed on his phone. He was wearing Nike shorts and you could see his underwear a little above where his shorts were. He looked at me.
A- there she is. How was your shower?
M- it was good. Refreshing. Can you help me put this gauze on me hands?
A- of course 😊
He sat up and I hobbled over to the bed and sat down next to him. I gave him the gauze and tape along with the Neosporin. He wrapped up my hands and looked at me.
A- I'm sorry you broke your ankle.
M- hey it's an excuse to be lazy for 4 weeks 😂
A- true
I giggled I got up and took the first aid stuff back to the bathroom. I laid on the bed next to Austin. He put his arm around me.
M- thanks Austin. I love you.
A- anything for my best friend. I love you too.
With that I was out cold.

I don't have much to say except sorry I haven't updated. Oh and I got sat next to my crush of three years in my physics class. He make the class kinda fun. 😂 honestly don't think I will stop loving that boy. 😊 thanks for reading! 😄
